Achieving that desired “cat eye” look or just adding a cool streak around the eyelid for some definition has never been easier for myself! I love the shape of this pencil. It helps to hold it and have a nice form grip as you’re applying such a delicate line of makeup around your precious eyes! Maybelline is always making it easier for us ladies to get that studio-photo ready look! I love how precise and smooth the tip is to help get a good line or a fill for a thicker line on the eyelids. Comes off easily with makeup remover and lasts all day! I look forward to having a bolder eye look now!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a nice eye liner with a super fine tip. I used it to tight line my upper lash line and I love the thin line it gives me without getting extra product onto the root of my eyelashes. It stays put for the day and does not smudge to my lower lash line. Product sometimes will collect on my outer corner of my eye but easy to remove. I docked one star because the formula is a bit dryer than what I normally like in a pencil liner. I found it a little hard for me to line my eyes and create a wing that I like to wear because the tip is so fine. Other than that for days that I just want to tight line in the gaps this is a go-to.

Good, affordable eyeliner

Although it doesn't provide the crisp line that liquid eyeliner does, it is still great for lining your eyes. I do find that it will rub off if I apply a lot of pressure (for example if I try to re-curl my eyelashes it will come off on the eyelash curler), but for the most part it stays put. I thought the precision tip would be ideal for my routine. It definitely WAS easy to apply & went on smoothly with no skipping or tugging, which was great & the only reason I gave it two stars. beginner friendly pencil eyeliner

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I haven't used a pencil liner since college, so I was pretty excited. I'm more of a liquid liner person since I love a sharp cat-eye. This pencil is solid for beginners due to the ridges on the case that prevents your grip from sliding. It's good for tight-lining, but I wouldn't recommend it if you have oily eyelids (definitely prime or powder them beforehand) or if the weather is too hot and humid. It smudges and it may take a few tries to get a true black color on your eyes. However, I could see this as being a good liner for a smoked-edge or even a subtle, natural look if you use the brown. :)

Her and I both liked how smoothly it went on, she said she didn’t feel anything. I love that it is water proof because she sweats during dancing. Did not run or smudge. Took a wash cloth of water and it didn’t smudge. I used micellar water took it right off. I had the tip short but it did break off 2 times while I was applying to my daughters eyelid. That is why I gave it 4 stars. This eyeliner did not make my daughters eye water. My daughter approves and this will be our eyeliner for competitions and recital.

I really love how thin it is and the color is very pigmented but the liner is not very durable so I had to apply it very carefully, gentle and in small strokes. Also when I took the it's pink cap off to use, the liner almost fell out of the outer casing and it was moving all around. Speaking of the casing, it is a No-Slip Grip pencil because the outer casing is Hexagonal, I prefer a Round outer case because the Hexagon ones are uncomfortable for me to hold. This eyeliner pencil is long lasting and does wear good but to be honest, I would rather use a liquid eyeliner instead.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm not a fan of eyeliner pencils but this one surprised me; I drew a reverse cat eyeliner as part of my makeup for last night and although it was really hot outside, and it does not claim to be waterproof, it lasted all night. It's presentation is very convenient, because you can easily carry it around in your purse. My only two complaints are that it isnt that black in reality, and the lead is very hard (those two problems are likely related), so it even hurts a bit of you need to apply it in a pinch. In the end I still think it is a good product overall.

Useless! Waste of Money

I usually love Maybelline eyeliners and recently purchased 3 of the Hyper Easy Eyeliner. This eyeliner is awful, the tip is way to fine (its like trying to apply eyeliner with a needle!), it has no colour and is difficult to apply. I had to push harder than normal to apply any hint of colour and in doing so, the tip of the pencil / crayon constantly broke = wasted product. Not impressed.
No, I do not recommend this product.

The packaging is cute with its almost rose gold... or just Shiney pink... honeslty I'm not sure which they intended... the cap also is hexagonal which is just neat and different. My complaint is if you twist the pencil up too high you can't just twist it back down. if you twist it down it doesn't move, but if you touch the eyeliner part it'll to back down which tells me it isn't well attached and may fall out.

I used this on both my undereye and my lid and it actually wasn’t as bad as I thought it could have been. (I rarely use sticks.) I love how it turned out on my undereye and it did a really decent job on my lid. The only problem I have is when I used the stick I had to push pretty hard down on my lid for it to come out, it broke a couple of times. For my undereye it went on super smooth. I will be using this product again on my undereye.

True black, really glides!

This was my first time trying this specific eyeliner and I really like it! Like a lot of slicker eyeliners it does smudge a bit when used on the waterline but a few touch ups throughout the day should get you through just fine. I also like this on the lid for a blended out smokey eye. Really nice quality for the price and I feel like it’ll last forever since you only need a tiny bit of product.

I'm not about to tell you that this eyeliner made me an eyeliner master, but the precision size made it easier to fix mistakes and adjust without the usually quick trip to raccoon eyes territory. Application was smooth and wear time was good too, it has passed the Southern summer test thus far. This product gave me hope that even I can stop dreading doing my eyeliner!

The eyeliner doesn't apply easily, and a chunk of it broke off while applying, which is a huge waste of product when it continues to happen. I would not buy this after the experience I've had. It doesn't blend well and it doesn't spread with ease. It is very difficult to work with because the eyeliner itself is too stiff. I do not believe eyeliner should crumble but this one did.

It's a great concept but lacking

i can FINALLY do a wing!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had grip issues from botched carpal tunnel surgery/nerve damage, and have yet to find anything I can use to wing eyeliner looks that doesn't take hours to get done. this little gem, though, is SO thin I didn't even have to line my lash line!! all I did was flick out the edge and left it alone! it is very thin, the component itself, and though the shape helps it's still difficult to hold with it being so thin. the eyeliner itself also smudges a tad easily, but does last a LONG time!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Hyper Easy pencil eyeliner in black 001 shade is the perfect dark colored liner. It is a very small tip, but it's a not that durable. I was very gently applying it and it crumbled twice. When it finally worked, I think it's still not as good as a liquid liner. The color doesn't come out as smooth and at least for me the look wasn't that seamless. I don't usually use pencil for this reason. In terms of wear, it does last a day and night, and it doesn't rub off that easily.

gives a nice thin line

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I can say this gives you the thinest line and really helps to accentuate the lash line to make your lashes look full. It is also a true black and glides on smoothly. I will say use a gentle hand when applying because the eyeliner does break off easily. Also it is not waterproof or smudge proof but last a while one the eyes before transferring or smudging. Hope they make this in a waterproof formula because I really like the thin dark line I can create with this so easily.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was hesitant to use a eyeliner pencil because usually I do liquid. I find that any type of pencils have patchy color pay off and it's hard to do a good solid line. For this one though, it was perfect! My biggest complaint is that the liner kept breaking, at least three times per eye. At that rate I'll go through one of these every couple weeks. I'd you only like a thin light amount of liner, you'll like this. If you like thick bold liner, this isn't the one.
