My lashes looks longer and more volume

I received as a member from Lorealistar Community in exchange to my honest opinion.
I am in love with Maybelline’s Colossal Bubble mascara! I have very short, light lashes, and not all mascaras give me the effect I want. However, this mascara’s black color and lash-inflating formula provide sleek volume, curl, and separation for my lashes.
Once applied, I barely feel like I’m wearing mascara; it’s so lightweight. I appreciate that, while wearing Bubble Colossal mascara, there’s no flaking or mess around my eyes. A big plus for me is that my sensitive eyes feel comfortable and experience no irritation. I highly recommend it!

Nice mascara

But if you want more volume you can definitely layer it up and it still looks great. The wand isn’t curved but the bristles are, which helps lift and separate my lashes really well.
It lasts all day on me and doesn’t smudge or flake, which is awesome, especially for a drugstore mascara. The only thing is it takes a little extra effort to remove at night but it does come off completely so it’s not a problem. The packaging is simple and cute. I wish it was a little more rounded and fun but that’s not a big deal because the product itself is what really matters.

Maybelline bubble mascara hurt my eyes.

I bought this mascara because of the hype and it actually gives the volume and lengthening effect after using 10 coats of mascara. But it hurt my eyes my so bad all the time and I’ve allergic reactions to it. I tired second time just to confirm it, if it was because of the mascara. I just can’t sleep because of the pain it caused in my eyes.

Great, affordable mascara! Slam dunk!

The mascara had incredible volume in just a few swipes. I haven’t had any fallout or crumbling either. The eye liner was easy to draw with and is the perfect shade of black.
The lifter glazes were very surprising for me! Neither shade is one I’d usually reach for, for the lippie was creamy and fun! I think they’d be great to apply over bolder colors to tone them down. I also appreciated that they didn’t have a strong fragrance or flavor. These totally remind me of my highschool makeup- but better! It’s amazing how far makeup has come.

The wand is not large so it’s not difficult to get all of your lashes, it also does not cause a mess all over. It does separate well and lift. I do like the formula because it seems to take less layers to achieve the look I typically prefer. It also washes off easily at the end of the day and stays put through out the day. My only complaint is that the bristles do pick up more product than they need to, I think this is because the opening doesn’t catch as much when you pull it out. It’s not a huge problem though, I just rub it along the sides a little more as I pull it out and that solves the problem for the most part!

The brush is interesting to say the least

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall, this mascara is pretty good. It does give you more length and volume. However, this brush has a unique feature, which some people may love, while others may find it a bit... "annoying". The bush is actually completely covered in bristles, but only some of them are standing. When the brush is pulled from the mascara tube, some of the bristles are held down, but if you're old-school and like to scrape the excess off the brush, you'll in fact release the rest of the bristles giving you a full brush. If you twist the brush tip on the way out, the bristles don't come in the same arrangement as if you'd pulled the brush out in a single motion. Do with that what you will.

Long-wear mascara that gives buildable volume

It goes on smoothly and without clumping, is buildable, and gives my eyelashes big volume and nice separation. I haven’t noticed it smudge, and it doesn’t give me any issues with my contacts, which is a HUGE plus since eye products tend to make my eyes water. This mascara lasts on my eyelashes all day. I also really like that it’s easy to spot in my makeup bag because the tube is yellow. When it comes time to remove it, most of it comes off with soap and water!

Every day mascara

Over the years my eyes have become more sensitive so I am very pick when picking a new mascara. I was blown out of the water by this product as I did not need to use a lash curler or primer to get my normal results. This wore great all day and did not irritate my eyes at all! When it came to the end of the day I had no issues taking off this mascara. I was excited to see this product has also been released in a brown shade and I can’t wait to go buy it

I use a lash serum so they grow and that also helps them curl. Right off the bat I hated the wand. It was super clumpy and not separating like it looked on the package picture. Then it weighed my lashes down and clumped them without even looking clumpy it was weird. It made it look like I had about five skinny lashes. Normally if a mascara is clumpy at least it looks a little fuller, darker, or something. This did absolutely nothing and I wouldn’t recomend even if you have nice lashes.

Lifting

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I think that this mascara is going to appeal to a lot of people. It might not be my absolute favorite but everyone likes or needs something different in a mascara and I really think that a lot of people will like this one.
It does a nice job of lifting my lashes and providing good separation and I find that my lashes stay curled up really well. The reason why it won't be my go-to mascara is because it really provides absolutely no volume and because my lashes are naturally sparse, I need a mascara that gives them the appearance of looking a little fuller and filled out.
It's not a bad mascara by any means and for someone who wants a great lifting and defining formula, I think this is a good choice.

Colossal Bubble Mascara - Waterproof

I want to start off with I love Maybeline mascara. My favorite is Volume Express The Falsies. The two products are very similar. However, I have purchased the Colossal Bubble twice now and have gone back to the Falsies both times. I use waterproof mascara to hold my curled eyelashes. Colossal doesn't dry quickly and causes my curled lashes to straighten out. I love that Colossal is very thick but tends to dry out fast. I've purchased from two different stores and both times the I got the same effect. I am over 60 and a lifelong Maybeline user. Colossal Bubble just isn't for me.

Because of that, it does take a bit longer to dry, so you’ll want to be cautious not to blink or sneeze too soon, or it might smudge.
However, once it sets, the wear is impressive! It’s long-lasting, smudge resistant, and lightweight. I also appreciated the buildable formula; after the first coat dried, I could easily apply a second layer to boost length without any clumping. Overall, a great option for a natural, flexible lash look.

Flakes, smudges, leaves lashes stiff

I had high hopes for this mascara, and I am sadly disappointed. It claims to not smear, it’s supposed to be buildable, it’s not supposed to flake, and it’s supposed to be waterproof. It is none of these things. Right out of the tube it’s clumped up on the wand right in the middle. There is so much product on the end of wand you have to wipe it off. It smears really bad leaving black residue under eyes. It flakes almost as soon as it dries. It leaves the lashes feeling stiff and clumpy, when you apply it. It’s definitely not what it claims. It’s definitely not worth the money.

Why so many chunks?

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was so excited to try this product after saying the ads on TikTok. The way some of these influencers reviewed. This looked wonderful. Eye on the other hand was not impressed with this product. The mascara tends to clump up on my eyelashes and it clumps up on the applicator.. I’ve seen this product have claims that you don’t even need to curl your eyelashes before using it as it has a 360 curling power, but my lashes after using or straight even after using eyelash curler I feel like the mascara way down my eyelashes. I think that this product has potential Maybe it’s an issue with the stopper and the applicator that too much mascara is being added onto the wand. I normally love Maybelline mascara is with this one was just not it for me.

Heavy mascara

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Wow! This really is very black! The formula is buildable and the brush helps with lengthening. Packaging is typical drugstore mascara. I do like the size and thickness of the tube itself. This feels like a thicker mascara that I’d want to use for a more dramatic effect. However I can see it clumping for that reason. I will keep it in my line up but probably not repurchase just because when I wash it off at night, it leaves a lot of residue behind and I will need to double cleanse. It doesn’t say that it is waterproof but sure felt like it !

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The packaging is Super cute, the yellow, the bubble lettering, I like it! The brush bristles Really separates my lashes and I can see every lash gets coated perfectly. The mascara is super light weight, doesn’t weigh my lashes down & gives them some nice volume! This mascara is Buildable, one coat looks good to me, but I have tried it with more than one coat as well and there is NO clumping at All!! Definitely Love that!! I use an oil cleanser to remove all my makeup and it removed completely fine, didn’t have to go over my eye area more than one time, also a win.
Overall I am really enjoying this mascara and Definitely recommend checking it out!!
