LASH SENSATIONAL SKY HIGH MASCARA Washable Lengthening Mascara

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The mascara formula itself is beautiful! It goes on smoothly, no clumps, it feels light, there isn't an overwhelming odor, and it doesn't flake as soon as it dries.
The brush is a little rough on the eyelid if you try to use it right at the root of your eyelashes. It's fine for just the tips ;) but it really causes some sensitivity if you have to do a lot of little strokes or of you're an overachiever and try to do your lashes all in on go with too much product and then need to use the spoolie to distribute the mascara on the other 45 days worth of lashes you apparently thought you were going to be glamming up! So, just be gentle and it's all good.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Yes I do really enjoy my mascara,I will be getting a big tube soon I'm already almost out.IDK how many mascara products I've bought just in the past 3 months.And it's been a few a few too many that doesn't work or doesn't provide what it's brand promises.This lil guy kills it every time.I used to only wear makeup when I went out or for a special occasion but now I do my face daily, sometimes 2 lol thanks for the sample,keep me in mind if you're giving future samples of anything to do with beauty.I love feeling smelling and looking like a million bucks, let me do it all in your marvelous products lol

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] If you are looking for a mascara that actually lives up to the hype, the Maybelline Lash Sensational Sky High is a total game changer. I have tried so many high-end brands that promise length but end up looking clumpy. This one is different.
​The first thing I noticed was the lengthening look it gave my lashes without making them feel heavy or crunchy.

My eyes are also sensitive and tend to water with certain mascaras. I did not have that problem at all with this one. I find that Maybelline does a good job in general at making products that don't irritate my eyes.

Removing the product after hours of wear was also a breeze.

10/10 would recommend!

I did not like this mascara at all. Starting with the color pay off, it took several layers to get even somewhat of an even coloring of blue in my lashes. After two to three coats, the mascara was already clumpy and the blue had not even shown up yet by that point.

The mascara formulation itself was also disappointing. It did have a slight lengthening effect, but my lashes just… fell. I tried again later and curled them before hand, but nope! They fell just as they did without being curled.

I wanted to like this mascara, but it’s a bust for me. 2 stars.

That is so not the case with the Maybelline Sky High mascara! The wand is perfect. its skinny enough that I dont worry about crushing my lashes or getting mascara everywhere. And the mascara is great. It adds a nice lift and isn't heavy on my lashes. It works wonderfully to open up my eyes and accentuating my lashes. Highly recommend for those just starting out with makeup and those like myself who have maybe tried too much. This will definitely be my go to for the foreseeable future.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I enjoy using this mascara!! The key is the brush, it's a plastic design that's flexible and tapered. This lets it reach and grab even tiny lashes on the sides of my eye, all without clumping, and without too much trouble reaching them.

This mascara's formula lengthens lashes dramatically without feeling heavy or spidery, too. Plus, it doesn't flake or smudge throughout the day! This is important, especially because I have a little bit of oily skin and usually battle with some mascaras due to them smudging, but not with this one.

Overall, I can recommend this mascara for people that are looking for volume and length without the smudging problem!

I’ve used a lot of mascara and was happy.Happened to see the Sky High and decided to try it! I have no clumping issues, no flaking&wand is perfect. So impressed I got the waterproof hydrofuge in Sky High and sometimes use both for a more dramatic look. And you can see from the picture I’ve had the original Sky High for a month and still applies like I bought it yesterday! Ladies try it. I worked outside in the heat all summer and NEVER had any issues.I never had to reapply later in the day unless I wanted to or wanted a “night” look. This is the first review I have ever done so that has to mean something ladies! I think you will love it as much as I do!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This sky high mascara from Maybelline comes in an aesthetic packaging with blue and rose gold colors that make it pop. The wand makes it easy to apply and deposit color with one swipe; the color intensity could be increased by building up color and making it more dramatic. This color quite compliments my brown eye color, and it looks perfect. The application is smooth and amazing, which glides well and does not clump together. My lashes look full and provide good length as well as volume. After about 5 hours of wear, I did not observe any crumbling or transfer of product to my lower lashes, and the color did not fade off as well.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] What a GORGEOUS cobalt blue mascara! I put this on and was immediately stunned by the color, it just makes your eyes pop. I wore the mascara with otherwise subtle makeup today and it added the prettiest pop of color (left most swatch in the picture). I was actually surprised that it was more subtle than the color in the tube would have you believe, which I actually think makes it more wearable (at least for me!). My only gripe is that it flaked a little on my lashes throughout the day, which is one of my biggest mascara pet peeves. It does give nice lift and volume to the lashes, in addition to the color, so I would recommend!

No need to fuss over clumps or mess with accidental mascara marks cause this wand is the perfect size. I get excellent definition, volume and when I layer it, length too. Worth noting how flexible the wand is. It really makes it easy to target the inner corners if you struggle with that. I like this true brown color for a natural fresh summer look. I wanted to love this mascara, and I did at first- until it was time to take it off. I normally have long lashes that are fairly curled and this mascara has ripped out my eyes lashes and they are now straight as can be. With about half of them left. I have tried micellar water, makeup remover, makeup wipes and just water and I still feel clumps of mascara at the base of my lashes. And it’s not even water proof. Also when you try to take it of it just comes off in flakes literally EVERYWHERE. super sad and disappointed in this, especially cause my lashes looked great while it was on. But it’s not worth ruining my lashes over.

I have tried a lot of different brands through beauty box subscriptions and never found one that made me think "oh, this is actually nice and look at my lashes! Worth it, worth the price and the hassle. " This one however, this is the one! I love the results and I love the price. This does great things to my lashes, they look amazing! The flex brush is genius and as a result my lashes are full and long and gorgeous, 10 out of 10 I recommend it to everyone I know. It definitely lives up to the recent hype I've been seeing on social media as well, so buy it and you will not regret it!

I used to have the original version of this mascara which I loved, and decided I would get the waterproof one too! Usually I love Maybelline mascaras and I have never had any problems with them before…until I used this waterproof version. It’s really - and I mean really - difficult to remove. Even when you think you have taken it all off, there’s still some stuck in your lashes! I have had such difficult removing the product that I have had eyelashes falling out and thinning. Everything else about the mascara is great - the formula, the wand, the price! But if you want to keep your healthy lashes, I don’t recommend buying this mascara in the waterproof version.

I wanted to love this mascara, however, I have straight lashes and I am a devoted waterproof mascara user because of this. I currently use Maybelline Waterproof Rocket Volume Express in Very Black. As soon as I got this I went through my usual routine of curling my lashes and started applying, the thinner brush was a bit awkward, but I think its so it can coat every last lash. needless to say it took longer for me to curl than for my lashes to become straight again with this mascara. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After only a few hours of wearing the Maybelline Sky High mascara, I felt a little wooziness and drooping in my eyes. I went to check my eyes in the restroom and noticed I had developed an eye infection on my eyelids. It progressively got worse so I had no choice but to go to urgent care. There, they confirmed it was an eye infection on both my eyelids and advised me to stay away from any eye makeup for the next two weeks. I had only recently used my new Sky High mascara sample and will not be purchasing or requesting another sample from Maybelline ever again. The pain I endured from just blinking my eyes was unbearable.

I have mixed feelings about it honestly. The shade I received was called Blue Mist. The color was great if you like nontraditional lashes - it was pigmented and bright.. really nice! My lashes lack volume and length. That being said, the Sky High mascara definitely improved the length! But, because of my lack of volume, it seemed to clump my lashes together, making them look like errant branches sticking out of an old tree 😳😂 If you have volume and are looking for length only, this may work for you!

It takes a little bit of time to dry, but after it drys I don’t have any issues with flaking. With that being said, I give this 1 star towards the fact that it claims to be washable. I have a very difficult time removing this, and I end up with little black flakes all over my face and in my eyes. I prefer to use a mascara that comes off easily so I’m not tugging at the delicate skin around my eyes. So, if that is not an issue for you then I would recommend this mascara because if gives the closest look to falsies.

I have long lashes to start with. I only have a few requirements of a mascara. It has to separate, not clump and the brush has to grab and lengthen. I was super excited to try this bc in the past conical brushes have worked well for me. This just applied too much product. Clumped my lashes together, left blobs of mascara on my eyelids (it's very wet). I even went back and tried cleaning the excess off the brush and still had no luck. May be able to be worked with but there are too many mascaras out there that I can just slap on and get a better result with. I've been applying mascara for a VERY long time. This is not user error. Also made my lashes poker straight.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very nice formula, the brush flexes where it meets the wand so it takes a bit of practice to get the hang of it since it’s not rigid but it does allow the brush to meet the eyelashes well. The formula helps to lengthen, lift and thicken the appearance of my eyelashes. I really love the packaging with the raised lettering and there an extra soft “click” when closing the mascara tube which is very nice, since I know it’s closed properly. The color is also very pretty, it’s a deep blue which is noticeable but not unless someone is up close, it’s definitely a color that can be worn everyday if black is too intense for some.

I bought this mascara in the fall of 25 and LOVED it. I thought I had finally found my mascara. When it ran out I hurried back to the store to repurchase it. I applied it and it was clumpy and absolutely would not apply evenly. I kept trying it and was so disappointed each and every time. I could not believe it was the same mascara I had previously loved. Then I realized one of the culprits. You obviously decided to cheap out on the brush. It is so flimsy there is no way to apply evenly. The brush bends just trying to apply to your lashes. it is a joke. I am so irritated. On to trying other brands once again.

It looks really good on, lasts all day, no flaking or smearing and my favorite part is that my lashes still feel soft. It’s easier to remove than my waterproof mascara and since it lasts as well as it does I think it’s a good substitute. Since it removes easier, I don’t wake up with traces of it still smeared on my face. It doesn’t look clumpy or spidery, either. I’m not one to change mascaras that often but I would definitely purchase this when I run out.
