[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really liked this foundation, great value for the price aswell. I like a good coverage, and this ticked the box. It reminds me of my two faced foundation.

Very easy to apply, great texture, not runny at all. The matte finish is perfect. It didnt look cakey, it leaves a natural finish.
At the end of the day 12 hrs + the foundation and coverage was still there, I find some of my other drug store brands don't last all day. I haven't been out all day and night to see if it lasts 30+ hrs. But was impressed with how much washed off onto my wipes at night.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Things to know: light to medium coverage that doesn’t seem buildable, really lasts hours and hours on my “normal” skin, doesn’t settle into lines, pores and creases on my 51 yo mature skin, pump dispenser is fabulous and I’m a fan, texture feels lightweight and almost like nothing, not really matte or dewy (perhaps slightly satin finish?). I actually really like this foundation a lot. What I did: I could use concealer on my sunspots that show through, which I did NOT do in my pics, so you can see the true coverage. I pumped some on the back of my hand and then applied in dots on my face, then used a brush to blend it out.

Previous drug store foundations I have purchased have left me feeling less than enthusiastic. I tried this product with low hopes and I cannot believe how wrong my expectation was. This is genuinely my new favourite product. It does not make me look sweaty (like MCO Beauty does) but it also does not make me look powdery. The coverage is buildable but also looks extremely natural. I have had a whole week of 7am-11pm days and it has not budged and still looks as great as it did when I first applied it. The pump applicator is perfect and the price point is extremely competitive.

From the super cute packaging, hint of color contrast on the cap to the efficient pump and the high quality product they are just knocking it out of the park!

This coverage definitely felt light enough for my skin which I appreciate as a forty-something always-tired mom. The product didn’t settle into my fine lines and while it was fairly matte, it wasn’t flat at all and it did give a slightly dewy finish.

I really enjoyed testing this product and received several compliments on my makeup/appearance.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The super stay matte foundation glided into my skin so smoothly, it didn’t sit in my pores very much, and where it did I figured I would moisturise more before applying it next time. This worked well and my skin matched very well to the shade too. It had great staying power after I wore it all day, approximately 16 hours was the longest I wore it for. It definitely is a matte finish but that’s how I prefer my foundation to be, and my skin felt soft throughout the day. It covered redness, dark circles under my eyes and also reduced the look of pimples that I had too. I’ve been really impressed by this foundation and I look forward to using the remainder of my bottle.

I loved the feel of the foundation directly on my skin and over moisturisers. It is light on my skin and the colour match was unbelievable! I have dry to oily skin and had no issues throughout the day with the look of the foundation on my skin.
The packaging is cute and the pump action is effortless to use. A few dots over my face provided enough coverage that looked smooth and very natural. This is now my new everyday foundation. I will not be turning back and highly recommend for everyone to give it a try.

It feels lightweight on the skin and I love that it’s not overly shiny or matte it’s just the perfect balance of both. It lasted around 6 hours which is excellent for me as I do have very oily skin, I was really happy with that.
The coverage is excellent a little bit goes a long way, I also built the foundation up to a more medium to full coverage and it looked beautiful, It never looked patchy or cakey and the foundation had no oxidising. I used a beauty sponge and some other days with a foundation brush I found both ways to be perfectly fine. It’s a really nice foundation and I highly recommend this product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] first off I’m giving this a four because it has a very very strong alcohol smell and that really is what keeps it on the skin. The coverage is amazing. The finish is very Matte , which is what I already knew it blends well. I would not use this I have mature skin, so I make sure that afterwards I use a hydration setting spray. I’ve actually used it to cover up tattoos you can build on it and I posted a picture of that so you can see how mad it is the color 120 has a little bit of a yellow hue to it. overall, I would say it’s good for younger skin or if you have a lot to hide it can make your skin look dry and if your skin isn’t oily, I definitely wouldn’t recommend this.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Wow, this foundation far exceeded my expectations. It is exactly what it says, it’s an illuminating matte foundation. I usually prefer a dewy foundation as I find them more lightweight, but I could honestly not even tell I was wearing this foundation. It blends in easily, minimises pores and evens out my skin tone. I’m quite pale and got the lightest shade, which matched perfectly and did not oxidise throughout the day. I find the foundation buildable, and I even use it as a concealer on days I’m not wearing much makeup.

I would absolutely recommend this foundation, it out performs many of my high end products!

Looks natural,feels light and comfortable on my skin. Gives light to medium coverage pending on how much you want. I’ve applied with both a brush and a sponge, applies beautifully with either one. Does not settle into fine lines or pores.Easy lasts throughout the day with powder and primer, needed slight powder touch up around the 12 hour mark. The color is a smidge dark right now for my fair/light skin tone but I’ve been mixing with moisturizer or cc creams and it looks great. I received this product in exchange for my honest review.

To me this is almost a dupe of the Este Lauder double wear foundation! - There's an excellent shade range to chose from, and it sits nicely on the skin. I found this foundation gave great coverage and could certainly be built up for a fuller coverage if desired!

The packaging is neat and clean, and I love the pump feature. It definitely is long lasting and doesn't split on the skin.

I've been using this foundation with and without skin prep (a primer etc) and it's lasted beautifully either way. The only downside if you can call it that, was that it was slightly more matte than I expected.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a really nice foundation with build able coverage. It does have some mattifying effect but isn’t drying and has a nice luminous finish. It doesn’t look cakey and doesn’t clingy to dry spots which I really liked. It was also easy to to blend out and never looked patchy. It wore really beautifully in humid wearer and in the heat. This foundation also feels really light to wear, never felt heavy.

Definitely can easily compete with lots of high end foundations.
I would definitely recommend this foundation to anyone looking for a new light-weight foundation that is long lasting and great price for value.

I hate the new formula. The old one was my holy grail and was really special among all the drugstore options. It was matte with great coverage but it didn’t look drying or cakey…and it stayed all day even in Florida humidity without breaking apart. This new one is breaking apart on my face within an hour just being indoors. My face isn’t even as oily as it was when I was younger so I was a little shocked. So many foundations pander to this glowy trend now. Why couldn’t you leave one of the best matte formulas on the drugstore market for those of us who need it? The competitors don’t need as nice. So frustrated.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I will preface this review by saying that I have quite oily skin, and found that the Maybelline SuperStay Lumi-Matte Foundation was not up to the task of staying in place all day, and certainly not for 30h. The formula is very light weight and thin which would be ideal if you are looking for a light coverage but if you are after something that offers a medium level of coverage I'd look elsewhere. In comparison to other foundations I have tried I found that there was hardly any colour on my make up wipe at the end of the day even when I used a finishing powder over the top. The foundation is very matt in look which I loved and it did not make my skin looks oily which was nice.

I have never left a review for any foundation, but i simply have to leave one for this foundation.
I have acne prone, oily skin with big pores on my cheeks. I have tried many foundations—both high-end and drugstore—and this is by far the BEST foundation. The formula is amazing: it doesn’t dry out the skin, nor does it make it oily and it doesn't accentuate my pores. I’ve worn this foundation on many occasions - during 24-hour travel, an all-day summer wedding, and extremely hot days - and it doesn’t budge and it makes my skin look amazing! Please never reformulate this foundation; it’s perfect the way it is!

I am over 35 and I have fine lines, I am more of a tinted moisturizer girly and I mixed this foundation with my moisturizer. It created a flawless non-creasing finish that wasn’t matte or dewy. I did not set my face and I applied with a beauty blender and it blended perfectly to my skin tone. I would say I needed about 2 pumps to blend which means this bottle will LAST. I have neutral skin and loved my shade as well. I wouldn’t keep foundation on for 30 hrs but it did last throughout the night! I like it just as much as my NARS! 10/10

It has a light texture and the coverage which dries to a slightly luminous matte finish is just enough to compliment my natural complexion. This product also has a great shade range. My complexion is a deep tan and I didn’t experience any oxidation with this foundation. The weather is cold right now so I didn’t have the opportunity to test its sweat and waterproof claims; however, I wore a jacket with a light colored collar and was pleasantly surprised when I didn’t experience any color transfer so this foundation definitely stayed put.

The coverage was quite sheer, similar to my BB cremes.

The product was easy to use and apply. The squirt bottle is so easy to use and disperses the perfect amount.

It generally went on smoothly, however I found it went alittle funny (cakey-ish) when used over some of my moisturisers and face sunscreens which was alittle unfortunately.

The finish was light, natural and dewy. It resembled lovely glowy skin.

It lasted reasonably well, however I did need to reapply or touch up around 2pm (7ish hours after application.

It was nice, but not one of my favourites.

It’s a very natural, skin like finish and does not look cakey at all. It plays well with my skin care and did not separate for me. I found the colour stayed true and I did not notice any oxidisation either. All in all a great foundation and one that I would wear daily especially for work as the staying power was great too.

I chose my colour based on the description online and have to say it’s spot on. I typically use tinted moisturisers as I prefer a natural finish but was pleasantly surprised by this foundation. It’s lightweight while providing great coverage and it’s quite buildable without a cakey finish. It still looked great at the end of the day without any touch ups needs throughout the day. It provides a nice bright glowy finish to the skin making you look fresh. I would consider purchasing this in future if I were to move to foundations again and would happily recommend to friends and family.

I have very minimal oxidation/yellowing as the day goes on. I have a tricky undertone (olive) and foundations tend to always look too yellow or too pink on me. This, somehow, looks fantastic on me! And THANK YOU Maybelline for capturing accurate skin tones online - I am so nervous about ordering without trying on in store but it worked out perfectly. I would say it's about medium coverage - it covered a bruise on my hand easily, for reference, but it still looks natural and not cakey. Overall a huge fan and very impressed with the quality for the price point!
