VOLUM' EXPRESS COLOSSAL 36H VOLUMISING MASCARA

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great, affordable waterproof mascara for the summer! The applicator has thin wisps so it distributes the product on the lashes giving a very natural look while still lengthening. The only issue I had was that I couldn’t get a lot of the product on the applicator to get enough mascara on for what I like. I have very long lashes naturally and they need to be fully coated and I couldn’t get this product to layer up very well. It’s a great day to day kind of look for the summer! The product stayed on very well and I needed a strong eye make up remover to remove it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] For years I used different Maybelline Mascaras growing up and never stuck with one until I started using the Lash Paradise Mascara from L’oreal. I didn’t have super high expectations from this mascara as I haven’t been able to find one that competes with the Lash Paradise one but this one gave L’Oréal’s a run for their money! It doesn’t feel heavy or get super chunky after applying 2+ coats and it lasts all day (granted I received the waterproof one)! It creates a nice full and lengthening effect which are two things that I look for in a mascara- highly recommend!

After I curl them, I have about 15 seconds to have mascara on before they start to fall, so I need mascara that acts like glue, and fast. When I was first putting this on I thought it would work, but then I watched my lashes start to fall. The brush is really thick, so I had a hard time not smudging it on my skin. I did like the length and volume it gave my lashes, so if yours have any natural curl at all, you might love it!

It’s not clumpy, it doesn’t stick. Gives great lash extension. Water proof, no smudging, and no running. This is very important for me because my daughter sweats when she dances. With this mascara I don’t even need to put fake lashes on. Highly recommend! My daughter approved this mascara, she said she barely felt the brush touch her lashes. This will be our new mascara for recitals and competitions hands down.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Lash Type: straight, thin Honestly VERY surprised with this mascara. I was using the Dior Show Icon mascara prior to this, and this holds up the curl on my lashes longer and smudges LESS than Dior. No flaking either. They weren't bluffing with the longevity on this one. The first application is very natural looking -- if you wanted more "oomph" and darkness, you'd probably have to apply a few more coats or look for a different type of mascara. For length, this works great. I wish the packaging could be less bulky and the branding a little less "loud", but it does match the name of the product. This mascara gave me volume and relatively defined lashes with no chunks, but I wish that it had made my lashes longer, too. It stayed on well. I washed my face with water and none came off. Even after washing my face with face wash, half was still on, so I broke out the eye makeup remover. Pro tip: it a little bit of mascara gets on your face & you don't want to make your face greasy with makeup remover or oil, put some aloe vera on a Q-tip. Works like a charm.

The wand was really easy to maneuver my entire lashes and coated them fairly well to stay put. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was a bit disappointed with Colossal 36hr Mascara. I did not like the brush. It just seems too soft. I had to use a lot of pressure to get the brush through my lashes and then I had product on my orbital bone and up to my eyebrows from trying to get the tips of my lashes. I also was hoping for better volume with a single coat. I wish the brush would've been better and I might have liked it much more than I did. There was a little flaking after a couple of applications to get the volume and coverage that I like. I was hoping for more.

I wore it for an entire day and didn't notice any smudging or smearing. This is a task even some of my higher-end mascaras have struggled to accomplish. Next I want to talk about what it did for my eyelashes. The lash length I got from this product was amazing some of the best I've gotten from a mascara. This one is really good; I don't use an eyelash curler because my eyelashes already have enough of a curve, so I what I really look for in a product is for it to give the appearance of volume, without feeling heavy. This one accomplishes both. It is waterproof so it lasted me all night long, it was easy to remove when I got back home, and it didn't leave a residue. You have to try this!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been trying out this mascara few weeks already, and i like couple of features of it, the big brush allowed me to do an easy application on my lashes , I usually apply a coat of two of product and is enough for my lashes, I saw a difference in the volume of my lashes after the first coat, it’s very pigmented and drys off quickly. I wore it to go out and night and also to go to work and I was very surprised that after a double at work 17 hours out of home I still had mascara in my eyes.. this mascara is great.

This mascara is great at adding volume and it is buildable. I had to do 3 layers to get it to my preferred volume (I love my volume!) but if you like a more subtle look, 1 layer would do the trick. There is no clumping so that's great! No flaking or smudging either. The wand is easy enough to use although I prefer a curved wand and this is more on the straight side. Good value. Maybelline does a great job with mascaras.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I set my expectations too high but I wasn't totally disappointed. In fact I only felt a little deflated when it wasn't what I had imagined! I do like it. It's a great mascara. It's waterproof and has my preference of deeply pigmented color, but I found that smudge proof and such must all be separate attributes in separate formulas cause I rubbed my eyes to relieve the itchy tired feeling and it smudged on my underwear area a little bit. But I will wear this anyways.

This one is long lasting and it doesn’t run all over your eyes when you sweat in the hot summer. However, as lasting as it is, I had a very hard time removing it. Overall, Colossal mascara is a perfect product for the summer and made my eye lashes look super long. I am wearing the mascara on my right eye and non on the left eye so you can compare.
