The Burgundy Bar Eyeshadow Palette

I have been Maybelline fan for very long time. I collect all the Nudes eyeshadow palettes. However the last one that I purchased, Burgundy Bar, the quality of the brush and the eyeshadow itself was disappointing.

Even when it was relatively new, perhaps only after 3 usage, the foam part of the applier came off.

And when I travelled not long after that, I had the Burgundy Bar hand carried inside my handbag, and when arrived, one of the colour shattered and made mess to the colours around it.

I carried another brand of eyeshadow palette inside the same handbag, and it was fine.

It troubles me a lot since it is more of collection for me, and to see it messed up, is quite disturbing.

I bought this pallet as the colours looked great even for only a pallet with 2 mattes. However after a week one of the shades broke when I was travelling and the case opens and spilt all in my bag. 2 weeks later another shade broke not even from travel and it ones of of the matte shades.
The colours where beautiful and swatched well using my fingers but when it came to blending on the the lid.... It's a no from me. Also the amount of fallout was crazy. I get it's drug store brand but still for the $$ and size of the pallet not good.
The only thing I use this for is the lighted glitter shade for my inner corner.

Unfortunately the eyeshadow was broken before I had even had the chance to open it! It’s a shame as I was really looking forward to using the colours. I have most of all the other pallets and have never ever had one shatter like this one.
I have emailed Maybelline in the hope that they can help me.

One of the eye shadows fell out before I even got to open the seal and shattered all over the rest of them. Even after opening and trying very carefully to put the pieces back, they shattered into even smaller pieces and dust. The rest of the pallet has bits of that color in them now. Totally ruined before I even got to use it!!!

Such a shame as the colors are beautiful and the texture is great.

I have been buying Mabelline products for years and this eye shadow palette is my favourite. The colour section is beautiful and can be blended with our eye shadows very easily. I will be buying a second one before this product is no longer available and something new is on the market. Thanks Maybelline for a beautiful colour palette!

Quality of palate is poor, two colours fell out straight away and they weren’t even cracked. Brush was basic and poor quality. Big disappointment considering the price tag. Love the colours shame my favourite two are gone now. So annoyed

Amazing . I am a cosmetician , we just got this stuff in and it is gorgeous. Very pigmented with a selection of “natural” beautiful earthy tones . Freaking gorgeous.
