SUPER STAY MATTE INK LIQUID LIPSTICK

I’ve worn SuperStay 24 hour lipstick for more than 20 years and love it so much I could do ads for the company. Wanting a brighter color I veered away and tried this but am super disappointed.
While the color is great and it applies well it comes off on whatever it touches and smears when combined with greasy food. I ended up in a mess needing to reapply midway through a work dinner party. That NEVER happens with your other product which is totally budge proof.
2 points for the awesome color - otherwise it’s a fail from me. ☹️

The colours are beautiful and bold, it glides ever so nicely over your lips and I was absolutely blown away with how long it stays on for!! They are not kidding when they say “SuperStay” people. I bought three shades with in 7 days and I’m loven them! I encourage people who don’t want to worry about smudges through out the day/night or having to constantly do touch ups but wanting bold long lasting lippies! then this hunnie, is the lipstick for you.

It also would be amazing if maybelline can continue bringing out such amazing & bold colours!

I went to buy the red lipstick yesterday. While I tried the sample I was fond of it, I liked it. I made my mind to buy the lipstick but to my surprise the actual product I picked up was completely different from sample one. The packaging was different moreover the weight was also different. The sample piece was much heavier than the actual one. For at once I felt like the actual product has nothing inside. Maybelline should address this issue as we consumer are buying your expensive products on the basis of sample products.

I loved it! I have a passion for matte lipsticks and it is hard to find one that doesn’t come off easy I had to use make up remover 2 or 3 times to take it off and I didn’t look at the mirror after doing it and went to sleep with half of my lips with the lipstick on, so I can’t complain about how good that is The colour looks exactly the same as the package and the wand makes it easy to apply. Just make sure you have time to apply it, it’s not a product to apply in a rush as it dries  pretty quick and it is hard to clean it if you make a mistake, you may need more than one coat to have the perfect colour but once you get it it looks amazing.

First of all this product is easy to apply, I love that the applicator is easy to work with. Secondly, this product smells great! Thirdly, this product is fast drying - it dries quickly between layers and definitely has a matte finish.
My pro tip is to either wait a few hours to eat a meal or apply 3-4 layers if you know you're going to be eating. In my case, I was sure when I was going to be eating and ate about an hour after application. What I learned was that I should have waited or took my own advice like I mentioned above.

Maybelline New York Super Stay Matte Ink Liquid Lipstick is fantastic! First off, it smells delicious! It has a smooth, creamy consistency that glides on so easily. It has great colour pay off with one swipe without being thick, gluggy and sticky. \n\nThe longevity of this lipstick is also a plus! For someone who doesn't wear a lot of lipstick purely because I'm too lazy to reapply, this formula is fantastic. It withstands meals and drinks without any problems. \n\nI tried the colour 05 Loyalist. It wasn't the right color for me my skin tone, even though it looked great on my hand but I am super keen to try some of the other color options!\n

This product is no longer excellent! I've been wearing Matte Ink Lipstick in many colors for a long time and have all my neigbors wearing it now too! I was very disappointed in the last tube purchased online, the applicator is flimsier, the lipstick consistancy thinner and it does not last very long. I'm very disappointed in the changes. I'm surprised the company didn't re-package as new and improved or something to let the consumer know changes were made to the product. I purchased online from a reliable source, is there any chance I was sent a counterfit product or do I need to look for a new lipstick? Please bring back the old formula!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This lipstick is unlike any liquid lipstick I have tried. The formula appears to be shiny, extremely thick and heavy once you apply it on the lips. All that disappears once it is fully dried. It is very light, comfortable, and completely matte. It dried fairly quick, and I really like the applicator shape, it is slightly pointed at the tip to make it easier to line the lips. It is extremely long lasting!! I had to use a waterproof makeup remover to remove it. This lasted more than 9 hours on my lips, before reapplying. I recommend it for anyone looking for an inexpensive liquid lipstick.
