Master Chrome Highlighter

Admittedly I am not someone who uses powder highlighters. I trialled the molten gold 100 of this product for 2 weeks, and would recommend it to those who do use these products.\n\nAlthough it is advertised as a highlighter, this product has versatility. I have very fair skin, and the darkness of the shade allowed for it to double as a bronzer with a heavier application. Application was easy and seamless, without affecting my foundation.\n\nCons - I would have opted for a lighter shade as there was a fine line between highlighting and bronzing that was hard to maneuver at times. Also, the product is a little overkill on the shimmer for my taste.\n

It required me to apply more of the highlighter to achieve the similar results that I would expect from other brands. The color itself was very nice, I tend to go for a lighter colored highlighter, but the warmer tone was a pleasant surprise. My secondary complaint is with its staying power, or rather lack thereof. Don’t expect your highlighter to greet you with the same brightness and shine at the end of the day, because it appears to call it a night and bounce early...

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I prefer powder highlighters/illuminators so this was an ideal choice for me. The color is not suitable for me in winter when I am at my palest. It is too warm and gives me that orange tint on my cool, pale skin. It will be much better for my skin tone in summer when I am tan or when I am away in a tropical location for a few days and have a tan. I liked that it wasn’t super over the top sparkly like some drug store illuminators are. It gives just a nice glow on the right skin tone. I would recommend this for a cheaper alternative to other powder highlighters. It was easy to apply as well. It just wasn’t ideal color wise for pale people.

When I first flipped open the package I expected to hate the swatch, as soon as I touched it my whole perspective changed! It's super soft to the touch, and blends so easily into such a natural glow. A little goes such a long way, and you can build it up effortlessly if you're going for more of a glam look. The pan is massive, so you'll have this in your makeup bag forever! The melted gold color is beautiful! I know I'll be using it even more in the summertime when my skintone deepens. I love love this highlight, and I cannot wait to try it in more colors! (Rose gold is definitely next!)

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This highlighter is a pretty, golden pink/peach shade. When I first swatched it I thought it would be way too dark for me to use (very fair), but it actually works fine with a light hand. I think this shade would look best on light-medium skin tones. These highlights have a really cool texture when you touch them, very creamy. There is some fine glitter and it definitely emphasized some texture on my skin, so if you have very uneven skin I'd say pass on these.
