    I want to love it, but I can't.

    I purchased this products 3 weeks ago and have used as much as I can. The colour is great but the design of the pencil is terrible. At first I had to Google to find out how to sharpen it, the plastic coating let's you think it is a wind-up pencil but it isn't. You can sharpen it. The other problem is, you have to sharpen it every single use, so every day. So this pencil is not made to last very long. The brush came off. I've had to put the pencil in between my teeth to turn it to sharpen it because it isn't long enough to hold and sharpen. The pencil inside is nice but the whole design is a shambles.

    No, I do not recommend this product.

    Terrible item I have ever got.

    I just got this tattoo studio long wear brown pencil. The tip very soft and damaged when open the lip. Hardly sharp as crayon damaged all... I want money back please. Cannot use... waste money and time. Not recomment to anyone.

    Hello - Ten days ago I purchased a Tattoo Studio 36H Longwear Eyebrow Pencil. The product was either not filled correctly or the mechanism to advance the crayon is faulty. See the attached picture. I would like a refund for this crap product.

    [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I wore this product for about 10 hours and it didn’t budge AT ALL. I wouldn’t be surprised if it actually did last 36 hours like the packaging claims! The pencil is on the thicker side so it’s a little hard to get hair-like strokes. If you’re looking for a thinner pencil, I’d recommend Maybelline’s Brow Ultra Slim product. However, this product is still very blendable if you’re going for a more natural look. The spoolie brush attached made it easy to brush through and shape my brows the way I wanted them. Overall, I’d definitely recommend this product to anyone who’s looking for a long-lasting, easy to use, and affordable eyebrow pencil!

    How to sharpen much difficulty sharpening

    It seems everyone on here has experienced this I have attached a photo my partner was about to throw this out after a week as he couldn't' twist it to wind up more pencil. Its not easy to sharpen and I had to google it on this site as I thought it was plastic and un-shapen-able and was also looking for the twist. I don't think they will make this product again or if they do instructions need to go on the actual pencil. Even then i had to force a cut in the sharpener then use a pair of tweezers to pull that bit of "plastic casing" off then I was able to shape relatively easily in a standard eyebrow pencil sharpener - see photo of final and good luck.

Despite the outer coating of the product, this product can be sharpened using a cosmetic pencil sharpener. This new generation of liners provides great color payoff but needs a gentle touch and a sharp blade to sharpen successfully. 800-944-0730For best results, insert the pencil into the sharpener no more than 1/4 of an inch. If you push the pencil too far into the sharpener, the blade will grab too much and become difficult to sharpen. The goal is to shave off the resin in a thin curl to reveal more liner. The pencil should be sharpened frequently so that 3 or 4 gentle turns are sufficient to achieve the desired result.

    Decent Product, Not for Me

    [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have never used a brow pencil before. My medium to dark brows have a very sharp angle and emphasizing this makes me look angry. However, as I age and especially after having babies my brows are thinner. I tried the blonde variety which does not have enough red in it or maybe I need the light blonde because this was much too dark. I felt like a caricature when I used this because there was no way to get a natural look. As far as the tattoo claim, this absolutely stays and goes nowhere! I’m so glad that I received a makeup remover in my box. Some good points this has a twist up base and brush on the end. I imagine that some women would love this product.

    I used it once a day liked it. Second time using, used up all the product. Since the package said it was sharpensble, thought the spooling end came off with a sharpener under the spooling. Well the spooling broke off and there is no sharpener. The pencil looked like it should roll up, but it doesn't. Looked at the packaging. It gave no instructions on how to make more of the product usable. Finally came to this site and found out that a make up sharpener, which doesn't come with it, should sharpener it. Obviously this product needs information on the packaging telling how to sharpener it. Maybelline should do better!
