I am really disappointed in this. I really love the liner mainly the formula. It is very easy to apply and also dries so quick. It has also stayed all day for me. The really big problem I have with this is that it just leakes out of nowhere. I used it once and it was perfect and next time I open it leaked all over my clothes and carpet. It is really hard to come off. I really hope that this gets solved in the future. I have not been able to use it because it happens every time I try now. I love all Maybelline products. I was so happy that I found the perfect liner but I have to be on search again for another one. :(

I usually just use a gel liner to tight line. However I am a professional makeup artist and I have used many liners. This liner stands up to the best selling luxury liners. I really enjoyed the packaging and it is very similar to one of my favorite liquid liners. I liked how juicy it is... It glides on very easily. When I do use a liquid liner I like a felt tip over a brush. But this brush didn't splay out or separate. It wasn't to soft or too hard, it was just right. It lasted all day. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really wanted to like this liner. Let’s start with the pros - the formula is nice. It doesn’t crack or dry too quickly. I didn’t notice any creasing or any fallout. For me the problems are with the brush. It’s too feathery to get a straight line which results in me needing to start over. There’s no forgiveness with this brush regardless of the amount of pressure you do or don’t use. I find I have to go back over my lines and the results look shaky at best. I cannot recommend it unless you were going to use the formula with your own angled brush.

I never thought to wear a brown liner since it seems everyone wears black. So I always used black and would usually recrear trying to apply it. Well, this liner has a very soft tip so there was no pulling or tugging at my eye. You can hardly feel it at all. And because it’s brown, the line is softer and more muted. It’s also easier to fix my mistakes without making my eyes look odd by over applying liquid liner. This is a soft finish, gives a great natural look, and even I can apply it with little headache.

Let’s get this out of the way: I suck at eyeliner. My hands shake like a scared chihuahua. I’ve tried every trick to get a good wing, but they all look vaguely unhinged.

That said, after a lot of trial and error, and cleanups, this might be my favorite liquid eyeliner I’ve ever tried. I put it on when I got the sample, forgot it was on, and bopped around my house cleaning. Got sweaty, rubbed my eyes—all the liquid eyeliner dont’s. I only remembered I had it on when I went to wash my face at the end of the day, and it was STILL THERE. Somehow, though, it came off easily with makeup remover.

They dry down time was perfection - long enough to get the application complete but wasn't still wet when I opened my eyes enough to transfer onto the top lid and leave a mess. The applicator is in a fun hexagon shape that was easy to grip and I really enjoyed that feature as well. The color was a perfect shade of dark brown that works great for all eye colors. When it came time for removal after a full day, it hadn't budged! This is a liner you need to actually remove at the end of day. Definitely one I would repurchase!

The brown is a little lighter so keep in mind if you tend to get tanned easily or have darker skin. I would use this mainly in the winter times since I tan easily in the summer and the eyeliner would not stand out as much. It does a great job being subtle, but still giving you a little pop around the eye. It is waterproof to a certain extent as long as you don't rub it. I have used more effective waterproof eyeliners before where I get it wet and rub with nothing coming off so this is kinda mid in terms of waterproof-ness. All in all, I would still recommend this eyeliner :)

I brought this eyeliner to Disneyworld with me and let me start by saying it was 86 degrees and humid outside. My body was melting and I was a hot mess but I was surprised my eyeliner stayed on! Literally went on expedition Everest rollercoaster and tears were flying out of my face And my eyeliner didnt move. I will stick with buying only this from now on! I am 55 years old, so please forgive me not looking like an Instagram model! But the HYPEREASY eyeliner is my favorite!!! PLEASE don't discontinue or change it! My opinion from years of using makeup is that is is BETTER than the expensive, department store high-end brands that cost 2-3 times as much! I finally found one that actually stays where I apply it - does NOT transfer, bleed or end up giving me "raccoon- eyes" 4 hours later! Goes on smooth without skipping or tugging on our precious eyelids. Granted.....about 10 years ago I had permanent eyeliner done, so I just have to add depending on the dramatic look I want for the day, but I ❤️ it and have recommended to many after they ask what I use!

This is a big deal since I have hooded eyes and usually experience smeared eyeliner! ⁣⁣This liner is said to last up to 24 hours and I believe this to be true! I even did a swatch on my hand and it was actually hard to wash off! TIP: if your lines become messy, you can clean it up by putting some foundation on a flat eye makeup brush and following outside the liner line you have created! It is very bold and creates an intense look for day and night time. I also used it to create a 70s look on my eyelids for a disco party. Surprisingly, it was easier than I thought to create the lines and remain in control of the line on the lids. I find that it fills in the space near my lashes easily and glides up with ease when creating a cat eye wing. It is, however, very easy to get carried away with adding more liner and I feel like it’s best utilized with those that are able to maintain control when applying eyeliner. It is long lasting and removes well with makeup cleanser.

The brush on this liner is so nice really thin at the top and gradually get bigger, the tiny part is great for getting thin lines on the upper lid and lower lid and thicker part of the brush makes it so easy to do a perfect wing look. The brush stays wet without having to shake the pen which I really like and is unlike alot of liners I have used in th past. I am very impressed with the quality. Only critique is be very careful on your lower lid this project is more liquid than other liners I have used and can easily get in your eye. I would definitely recommend to friends and family. Its also deep enough for a tan skin tones and shows well with eye makeup. Unfortunately this did not work for me, Within a few minutes of using this product it made my eyelids very itchy and Uncomfortable. I had to wash off immediately. I have sensitive skin. If you have issues with using the Urban decay glitter eyeliners then I definitely do not recommend this. But overall a great product for getting that perfect liner look, unfortunately just not for me.

I have been wearing eyeliner everyday for the past 7 years, and am always looking for new eyeliners to add to my routine. Due to my skin being oily, and the shape of eyes I tend to have smear marks appear pretty frequently. I tried this on for a week, and was pleasantly surprised with the results. I had some smearing (as I work with fish so water sometimes gets on my face), but a quick touch up and I was just like new. I will definitely be buying another one in the future.
