Product leaking

I really like this product the first couple of times I use it but soon after it leaks quite a lot. It used to be a couple of weeks until the leak starts but now it's within the first 3 uses. I have tried storing it in different ways because I thought it was a me problem but I don't think it is any more. It is a great product but unfortunately they way it leaks it can be dangerous and also a waste of money. Please fix this issue.

Great product but faulty lid

I really like this eyeliner but the lid does not stay on and the product dries up... it happened 3 times in one month. The first time the lid came off I had assumed that I forgot to put it back on (has never happened before but there is a first time for everything). So I purchased it again and the same thing happened. I really liked the eyeliner so I wanted to give it one more shot and was very intentional about putting the lid back on after each use.... but it popped off and dried out just as the previous two had. I really like this product but I am so disappointed. Unfortunately I'm not going to waste money on purchasing this product a 4th time. :(

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Sweet redemption! YES. I have Sjgren's Syndrome and have a rather sensitive eye area. (Maybelline liners/mascaras bother my eyes least.) I wear full glam makeup only once a week (to give my eyes a break). I've been doing my cat eye for 15 years. The applicator (brush tip) is the perfect size. Other liquid liners were too thick or too thin and the formulas were too runny, or too dry. The applicators (felt tips) on other liners were also usually too stiff and it felt like I was poking my eyelids with a needle, so I stopped using liquid liners altogether. That changes now. THIS. IS. EXCELLENT. It's fast. It lasts. Perfect for my needs.

Terrible; the cap makes it essentially single use.

The one time I was able to use this eyeliner, it was great; easy to apply and lasted throughout the evening. Then, the unthinkable happened: I put it in my purse. The cap popped off and a couple of days later the tip was completely dry. Absolutely nothing I did could revive it; it stayed unusable after several attempts to free/loosen the eyeliner.
Hoping that this was a fluke, I bought a second one (yeah, I know) and put it in a more secure compartment. The exact same thing happened. I've never had this problem with a liquid pen before.
Avoid this one, unless you plan to never leave the house with it under any circumstances.
No, I do not recommend this product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] OH HELLO I've always been a pencil-only eye liner person. Liquid is just far too messy for me but I'm ditching the pencils and will DEFINITELY be purchasing this in the future! It is not runny at all and I surprisingly made no mess. The tip is not stiff but is not too soft, perfect texture to glide in the direction you want to apply. The pigment has stayed all day long and has not faded. It looks like I freshly applied it 8 hours later! It is essentially weight less and felt like I had no eye liner on at all which I love. It is nicely packaged and a very cute, stylish pen. This liner is BETTER than Kat Von D tattoo liner!!! Its sharper and doesnt dry out when applied on top of eyeshadow! Maybelline products are definitely evolving to be one of the greatest drug store brand! If not tell which are better??? I just love this liner and use it whenever I get the chance, the packaging is so nice and the liner is so lightweight and easy to apply but it is very precise so dont mess up when apply!!! Its also waterproof and doesnt smear!!!!!!! I tested it on my hand and omg! It didnt want to come off! But thats a good thing

Leaking all over

I am really disappointed in this. I really love the liner mainly the formula. It is very easy to apply and also dries so quick. It has also stayed all day for me. The really big problem I have with this is that it just leakes out of nowhere. I used it once and it was perfect and next time I open it leaked all over my clothes and carpet. It is really hard to come off. I really hope that this gets solved in the future. I have not been able to use it because it happens every time I try now. I love all Maybelline products. I was so happy that I found the perfect liner but I have to be on search again for another one. :(

I usually just use a gel liner to tight line. However I am a professional makeup artist and I have used many liners. This liner stands up to the best selling luxury liners. I really enjoyed the packaging and it is very similar to one of my favorite liquid liners. I liked how juicy it is... It glides on very easily. When I do use a liquid liner I like a felt tip over a brush. But this brush didn't splay out or separate. It wasn't to soft or too hard, it was just right. It lasted all day. Okay but flimsy brush

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really wanted to like this liner. Let’s start with the pros - the formula is nice. It doesn’t crack or dry too quickly. I didn’t notice any creasing or any fallout. For me the problems are with the brush. It’s too feathery to get a straight line which results in me needing to start over. There’s no forgiveness with this brush regardless of the amount of pressure you do or don’t use. I find I have to go back over my lines and the results look shaky at best. I cannot recommend it unless you were going to use the formula with your own angled brush.

Brown eye liner is a win!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I don’t wear a lot of makeup and I do wear glasses so eye makeup is a challenge for me to apply. I never thought to wear a brown liner since it seems everyone wears black. So I always used black and would usually recrear trying to apply it. Well, this liner has a very soft tip so there was no pulling or tugging at my eye. You can hardly feel it at all. And because it’s brown, the line is softer and more muted. It’s also easier to fix my mistakes without making my eyes look odd by over applying liquid liner. This is a soft finish, gives a great natural look, and even I can apply it with little headache.

They dry down time was perfection - long enough to get the application complete but wasn't still wet when I opened my eyes enough to transfer onto the top lid and leave a mess. The applicator is in a fun hexagon shape that was easy to grip and I really enjoyed that feature as well. The color was a perfect shade of dark brown that works great for all eye colors. When it came time for removal after a full day, it hadn't budged! This is a liner you need to actually remove at the end of day. Definitely one I would repurchase!

The brown is a little lighter so keep in mind if you tend to get tanned easily or have darker skin. I would use this mainly in the winter times since I tan easily in the summer and the eyeliner would not stand out as much. It does a great job being subtle, but still giving you a little pop around the eye. It is waterproof to a certain extent as long as you don't rub it. I have used more effective waterproof eyeliners before where I get it wet and rub with nothing coming off so this is kinda mid in terms of waterproof-ness. All in all, I would still recommend this eyeliner :)

I brought this eyeliner to Disneyworld with me and let me start by saying it was 86 degrees and humid outside. My body was melting and I was a hot mess but I was surprised my eyeliner stayed on! Literally went on expedition Everest rollercoaster and tears were flying out of my face And my eyeliner didnt move. I will stick with buying only this from now on! I am 55 years old, so please forgive me not looking like an Instagram model! But the HYPEREASY eyeliner is my favorite!!! PLEASE don't discontinue or change it! My opinion from years of using makeup is that is is BETTER than the expensive, department store high-end brands that cost 2-3 times as much! I finally found one that actually stays where I apply it - does NOT transfer, bleed or end up giving me "raccoon- eyes" 4 hours later! Goes on smooth without skipping or tugging on our precious eyelids. Granted.....about 10 years ago I had permanent eyeliner done, so I just have to add depending on the dramatic look I want for the day, but I ❤️ it and have recommended to many after they ask what I use!

This is a big deal since I have hooded eyes and usually experience smeared eyeliner! This liner is said to last up to 24 hours and I believe this to be true! I even did a swatch on my hand and it was actually hard to wash off! TIP: if your lines become messy, you can clean it up by putting some foundation on a flat eye makeup brush and following outside the liner line you have created! It is very bold and creates an intense look for day and night time. I also used it to create a 70s look on my eyelids for a disco party. Surprisingly, it was easier than I thought to create the lines and remain in control of the line on the lids. I find that it fills in the space near my lashes easily and glides up with ease when creating a cat eye wing. It is, however, very easy to get carried away with adding more liner and I feel like it’s best utilized with those that are able to maintain control when applying eyeliner. It is long lasting and removes well with makeup cleanser.

The brush on this liner is so nice really thin at the top and gradually get bigger, the tiny part is great for getting thin lines on the upper lid and lower lid and thicker part of the brush makes it so easy to do a perfect wing look. The brush stays wet without having to shake the pen which I really like and is unlike alot of liners I have used in th past. I am very impressed with the quality. Only critique is be very careful on your lower lid this project is more liquid than other liners I have used and can easily get in your eye. I would definitely recommend to friends and family. I received this product complementary for testing purposes.

Its also deep enough for a tan skin tones and shows well with eye makeup. Unfortunately this did not work for me, Within a few minutes of using this product it made my eyelids very itchy and Uncomfortable. I had to wash off immediately. I have sensitive skin. If you have issues with using the Urban decay glitter eyeliners then I definitely do not recommend this. But overall a great product for getting that perfect liner look, unfortunately just not for me.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received a complimentary sample of this product for my unbiased review. I have been wearing eyeliner everyday for the past 7 years, and am always looking for new eyeliners to add to my routine. Due to my skin being oily, and the shape of eyes I tend to have smear marks appear pretty frequently. I tried this on for a week, and was pleasantly surprised with the results. I had some smearing (as I work with fish so water sometimes gets on my face), but a quick touch up and I was just like new. I will definitely be buying another one in the future.

Super Thin Lines

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this item in a VoxBox to try. The tip of the liner is a very sharp point felt tip. It gave me extremely crisp lines, and was super easy to do a tight water line liner in one swipe. I received the color brown which I have never tried before, and I absolutely love it. It is just dark enough for an easy every day look, but not as dramatic as black. The shape of the liner made it easy to hold, and it didn't roll between my fingers. I would definitely recommend this liner to anyone, and I will be purchasing this again when it runs out!

Natural glam!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the color of this liner, it's not as stark as a typical black but it has all the convenience that you want from a typical liquid liner. I have brown eyes myself so this looks really natural on my skin tone, especially paired with another fun liner color I've been using orange for example. The one thing I would improve, is the texture of the product, it's a little thinner and more watery than I usually prefer in a liquid liner but I think due to the more natural look that it provides that opacity being mid-range isn't necessarily bad.

I’d like to start off by saying that I’m not very experienced with using eyeliners so I can’t really compare this eyeliner with another. Before even trying this product out, I wanted to look out for precision, durability, and color. This is in a brown shade and it’s very pigmented. The packaging of the product is a bit cheap but I don’t mind. It’s very precise and I had it on for about 7 - 8 hours and it stayed in place which is very impressive. Overall, very nice product.
