[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I absolutely love the packaging of this mascara. It's such beautiful colour. The wand is nice shape and easy to work with and it provides easy precise application.
I have short straight lashes and the results are amazing. I applied one coat and there was visible difference in the length and volume of my lashes and second coat would give more dramatic effect. It's a nice black shade and it dries fairly quickly. I was very careful when applying it and it separated my lashes while coating them evenly. It lasted the whole day for me and there was no smudging or crumbling at all. It was easy to remove with my normal make-up remover. My new favourite mascara.

This is a replacement for the original Falsies mascara. I have worn the original Falsies for years and also received compliments re my lashes. I was really disappointed to learn the original was being discontinued. I bought the Surreal replacement thinking it would be at least the same, maybe better.
How disappointing. The Surreal version is nowhere near as good as the original version. Far less impact on lashes. Not sure if it is the brush or the formula. Why replace a product with something suboptimal? Please bring back the original.

Honestly this is my favourite mascara. This is the first mascara I use from this brand and OMG !!! it makes my lashes super defined, dense, thick, it stays well all day long.
I have oily skin and usually all mascaras will leave marks on my upper eyelid soon after application, but not this one though 🤩.
Easy to remove with micellar water, but since I apply 2-3 coats on my lashes I will of course use 2 cottons to remove it in the evening.
Absolutely love it.
I’ll put a picture with my lashes, this is after 5h wearing it. The colour is very intense and by the way the texture of these mascara is also nice.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So the overall effect i managed to achieve with the mascara was good, but even with a couple uses i couldn't achieve it without help from other tools.
It cpated my lashes well, added volume and length. I struggled with the shorter lashes and those closer to the inner eye. I got mascara on my lid, and not all my lashes were separate. So i used a comb and a different wand to seperate and grab these lashes to not make a mess of my eye make-up.
It stays put and no smudging.
Overall i like it, but its not a product i can use as a stand alone item, but for a false lash effect when going out its good.

Daily Lengthening Mascara

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is quite a dry formula so can get a bit clumpy if you don’t comb it through your lashes properly. That being said once you get used to it and take your time it gives wonderfully lengthened fanned out lashes with that false lash effect. With one coat it looks quite natural almost like not wearing mascara but is buildable. I would say this is definitely more of a lengthening mascara than thickening though because of aforementioned clumping! It lasts all day with zero transfer or smudging and lives up to being waterproof. Overall a nice mascara that I would use for daily wear.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Having used lots of different maybelline mascaras over the years, this isn’t up there. Firstly, the wand is straight- I found this made it harder to apply and I got more product on my skin that usual, especially on my bottom lashes. The product goes on nicely and you don’t need too many coats to achieve a full look. I applied 2 coats and found it left my lashes feeling tacky all day, and sticking together slightly which got quite annoying! It lasts all day and the curl doesn’t seem to drop. As it’s waterproof, it takes a bit more eye make up remover than usual to remove.

Amazing mascara would 100% recommend, I really love the brush it reaches all lashes and gives an even distribution of product. This mascara is clump free and really does make a difference to the length and volume. Love the fact that it has fibre technology, as well the best mascara I have used in a long time! I don't have long thick lashes but this mascara is definitely giving me a lot more volume and length I really love it! I have the very black one and it is great.The mascara itself is really pretty and expensive feel to it as well. Would advise anyone to give it a try you will not be disappointed in this great mascara either. Well done Maybelline another amazing product!!!

Highly recommended, cute packaging

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have received this part of the testing programme, i already use the lash sensational original one as maybelline makes the best mascaras out there. This one is also really good and met my expectations. It is not clumpy, it gives really good lift and separates them really well. It doesnt smudge or run down my eyes as some mascaras do. Packaging is really cute this time around too. I could compare it to more expensive mascaras out there and this one performs better. It lasts such a long time too. I only use one coat but you can go in and in if you wanted.

Impressive product

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Lets start with the colour of the packaging..lilac..Its a very subtle colour yet is extremely eye catching. Gives off Summer vibes, and would be very noticeable on the shelf-I love it. And the product itself: I'm impressed with the thicker brush-it enables an even coating on lashes and I swear after using it, my eyes look bigger!. No clumping, which is always a plus, and the lashes look great after using. Its also pleasing to note that I wore it in the rain and still it stayed put and yet, its easy to remove and no loss of eyelashes whilst doing so. You can tell from this that its a quality product also. It is definitely my new go to product and is a very very impressive product. What's not to love about a product as reliable as this!

Ok but not my favourite mascara

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this mascara to review. I only ever use Maybelline mascara’s so was excited to try this 1. Unfortunately it just didn’t wow me. I found it a little dry to apply & having quite sparse eyelashes I found this made it look a little clumpy. Didn’t get the length like my sky high mascara either. Initially I found it a little heavy when first applied & rather difficult to remove in the evening. I may continue to use it as a going out mascara & try layering it up but for every day use I think I’ll stick with my sky high mascara

I am already a big fan of galaxies macara, so was super excited for a new variation. The packaging is sleek and attractive. The brush bristles are really good for picking up product and smooth application. I wore this all day and it stayed put even when there was slight rain at the festival! I will be highly recommending this mascara to all my friends as a makeup bag staple. The mascara made my lashes look super dark and long.

Smudges, clumps, dries out.

I had low hopes for the product already, but it still managed to disappoint. it smudges behind your eyes onto you eyelid, and then below your eyes as well. it doesnt lengthen. it clumps. it doesnt hold a curl for more than a minute. and then after all that, it was dry within a few weeks and completely unusable. terrible product.

Oh. My. God. This mascara is the bomb! I have been using The falsies lash Lift mascara for ages and have been waiting to try this ever since I saw an ad for it..This mascara is totally amazing. Its even better then the falsies one (I still do love that one though) but this you can actually feel the brush brushing and seprating each lash as it goes on! It really is an incredible mascara and makes my lashes look amazing! I will have to try the waterproof to see how good that one is but I haven't noticed that this comes off when I have watery eyes. Stays on all day, does not flake or smudge but comes off easy with eye make up remover. Now please don't all go rush out and buy it and then its always out of stock and I can never get it lol..Gonna have to stock up once word gets out and more people try it i think lol..

Best waterproof mascara

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As a rule I don’t wear waterproof mascaras, I never think they look as good and are usually difficult to remove. I stand corrected. First of all this is a lovely lilac tube which means easy to find amongst my collection of mascaras in my make up bag. So easy to apply, looks great, separated and fanned out my lashes and doesn’t dry hard. Stayed good all day long and the best part, easy to remove, used my usual eye make up remover and it came off easily no effort required.

Night this because I was taken in by the hype. All these 5 star reviews are making me wonder if people have just been scrubbing their lashes with a bit of coal?!
Is a very average mascara, coats well, adds no real lift or length & frontier doesn't look like false lashes (unless you're lash tech doesn't lie you!)
It's just makes your lashes look life you've got an average high street mascara on. Disjointed with myself for believing the paid for reviews!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love Maybelline products, so I was excited to try the new Falsies Surreal Extension Waterproof Mascara. This mascara allows each lash to be coated from root to tip, as it has a buildable formula so it’s easy to apply 2/3 coats of mascara and still have lashes that are clump free. It creates both a lengthening and volumising look to my lashes. It's very long lasting mascara with no fallout and is easy to remove. I would highly recommed.

Mascara is easily buildable so can use it for day when want nice looking longer lashes and use more coats at night for a more intense look. Found it very good at lengthening my lashes. Didn't go clumpy or make the lashes brittle looking. Great staying power. Does require some gentle effort to remove it.

Applied a couple of coats and lashes looked really great for daytime, gives nice volume without being clumpy, they look longer and nice and wispy. Lasts all day. Came off easily with my eye make up remover. A buildable mascara if want a more stronger look for evening.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] 4 stars only because I’m not a fan waterproof mascaras. I find them difficult to remove having sensitive eyes. I have very fine and light eye lashes so they almost invisible without mascara. One layer of falsies mascara gives me nice natural look. Second one gives more volume and length. It doesn’t smudge, it stays in place the whole day. It’s a great mascara, I just need one that isn’t waterproof.

Its a thick black mascara (looks thick and prominent but not too thick to put on). It stays on for the entire day and looks amazing! I love using Maybeline mascaras....I know when I buy one I won't be disappointed and I know I haven't wasted my money.

I noticed that it doesnt clump but feel that i get a better look if i build the product on my lashes. It was a black colour very deep and lasted all day even through sun and rain. I found it difficult to remove so would reccomend an oil based remover.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a nice, black mascara. It doesn't flake and lasts all day. I did find the wand a bit thick and it deposited a little too much product, but I fixed this using a spoolie. I prefer the wand in the sky high mascara.
The tube is nice, however, i prefer a flat bottom to stand on my dressing table.
Overall, a nice mascara but won't be swapping from my current sky high mascara.

Not quite surreal extension, but a great mascara!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Wasn’t sure about this when I first unscrewed the lid, as there didn’t seem to be much product on the wand, but, after a couple of coats, my natural lashes were transformed into a lovely thick, black, even fringe around my eyes :) Good staying power, no flaking during the day (important to me, as a contact lens wearer), and easy to remove. It’s now my default everyday mascara.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] A good mascara, it goes on nicely with the applicator which separates well and deposits a good amount without clumping, and it didn’t smudge or budge for 24 hours. However, in my opinion, it is not the best for boosting length. I have naturally quite long lashes and struggle with some mascaras that boost them a bit too much and they catch on my glasses. This didn’t do that.

I didn't like the brush, I prefer longer, thinner applicators but just personal preference. Found it a little fiddly to get the inner corners of my lashes with this. I also couldn't get a second coat on without it getting a bit clumpy. It lasted all day and is waterproof which is good.

Depends on what you want from a mascara

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So, to begin with, I dont think calling this mascara "falsies" was anything to do with it looking like you're wearing false lashes. It doesn't. It doesnt lift my lashes, nor does it particularly extend them any more than any other mascara... HOWEVER... I work a manual job and my mascara.gets.everywhere. Under my eyes I get dark smudges, on my eye lids i get transfer. I think it is a lot to do with having oily/combination skin plus sweat. (Sorry for the gory details) however, i have worn this mascara to work for a week or so now and I can honestly say that there is significantly less transfer. I wouldnt say zero transfer, but noticeably less. A small amount that i can swipe away and not remove all of my eye make up with it. And it looks nice. The look itself is fine. Nothing to write home about but a nice coverage mascara.
So, take from this review what you will. Not a falsies look, but a nice mascara that doesnt smudge much.

I did achieve volume and length with the fibre technology. However i struggled with clumping and during wear the fibres dropped onto my face. I dont have very long lashes so it could be down to that. For me it just didnt work as well as i had hoped.

Really liked this mascara in first wear, until I realised it has tiny sparkly/shimmery bits which irritate my eyes (& I'm not usually a sensitive person), and when you take it off you're left with hard to remove spots of glitter on your face. Very unimpressed, and actually cross this wasn't labelled as so in store as I never would have bought it.

I also had a bit of a nightmare removing it too and ended up with panda eyes the next morning even though I thought it was all gone the previous evening. Overall not the best one I've tried but certainly not the worst either :)

The only thing I found is that it did clump easily if I didn't let my application layers dry slightly first. It was very easy to wash off which I appreciate -most of it came of it with water and I didn't need a heavy makeup remover.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been wearing the new Surreal Impact Waterproof mascara fit a few days and have to say how impressed I am. I love the wand and how it delivers length, volume and hybrid fiber technology. The shade very black lives up to it's name. Only one coat was needed to achieve fantastic results. No irritation which sometimes I do get.

Great effect

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Really liked the colour and design,the wand has a nice thick brush and is easy to apply with.The mascara goes on really easy without any clumping or smudging,on first appliance you can see a slight difference but not until the second coat that you can experience the full affect and makes the lashes look longer and thicker.
