Long dark lashes

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have a weird problem in that my lashes tend to curl towards my eyeball and cause a lot of irritation. As they get longer, which is something I want, I'd have to deal with this issue more often. The reason I wear mascara is to help lift my lashes up and keep them out of my eyes and this mascara actually does that. I took off a star because I do find it to be a little bit clumpy, but that could possibly be my application of it. I don't necessarily get as much last separation as I would like and I think that is due to the style of brush on the mascara wand. Overall it is a good mascara for providing that lash lift look especially if used after an eyelash curler.

Lifts Your Lashes

Maybelline sure knows how to make a fantastic mascara! This is probably the best mascara I have ever used and I'm 60 years old. Gives gorgeous length AND volume, and it really keeps your lashes lifted all day! I have deep set eyes, and because of my age, I have very heavy droopy eyelids that almost sit on my lashes. I have tried so many other mascaras that look great when first applied, but after an hour or so, my eyelids cause my lashes to droop, and you can hardly see them. With this mascara, my lashes stay lifted all day and night, and NO SMUDGING!!! What more can I say, it is phenomenal!! Please, Maybelline, don't ever stop making this amazing mascara.

Lash extensions in a tube!

I’m Asian and I have short lashes though a bit thicker than the average. My go-to mascaras are usually Japanese brands because of the fiber formulas and the ability to hold the curl. Tried this one and I was very impressed! It lifted, lengthened, and thickened my lashes in an instant! Plus it stays put all day! And the price is super affordable. I’m definitely going to hoard this! If you have thin, sparse lashes this may suit you because the formula takes a bit more time to dry. But like I said I’m picky with mascaras because I need something that would hold the curl and give loads of volume and length. This one satisfies my needs! You nailed the formula Maybelline!

Great lash lift without the hassle!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve tried a lot of mascaras, but the Falsies Lash Lift Mascara really impressed me. It gives my lashes a lifted, curled look—almost like I used an eyelash curler, but without the extra step. The black formula is rich and makes my lashes look bold and defined. I also love that it doesn’t clump often, even after layering.
The only reason I’m giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is that while it does last well throughout the day, it did bother my eyes a bit and it weights my eyelashes down after several hours, especially in humid weather. But overall, it’s a great mascara for achieving that lifted, voluminous lash effect without having to deal with falsies. Definitely worth trying.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Firstly, Maybelline mascaras are my favorite. I do like this mascara. It doesn't clump and it fans out my lashes nicely. Typically I curl my lashes before applying mascara and again after. I did not curl my lashes prior to using this the first time, but did curl them after, though I really didn't need to. So it does what it's advertised to do. However, I use waterproof mascara's exclusively, so I don't have a washable mascara for comparison. Loss of one star cause it does transfer to my lower eyelid after about 4 hours (like every other washable mascara I've tried has). I would probably give this 5 stars if this were waterproof because Maybelline waterproof formulas are best in my book.

Ive always been a fan of Maybelline and think they have great quality products. This mascara did not disappoint! I love how the bristles on the brush separated each lash and coated each strand from root to tip. My lashes naturally are straight and grown downward, this mascara made it look like I got a lash lift! It curled my lashes and added both volume and length. My lashes held out all day, I was beyond impressed! This formula was easy to wash off with no issues. I definitely plan to purchase this mascara again, I love it!

Really does lift your lashes and NO clumping

I love this mascara!!! I have used an eyelash curler for decades (yes - since I was a teenager)! I've had lash perms (lash lifts) and even lash extensions...I'm very picky about how my eyelashes look and I loved this mascara right away!! It really does lift your lashes and lengthens them without being clumpy and making you look like you have just a few eyelashes! It separates them! All the others I've tried make them clump together and then flake off as the day goes on. The real test of this mascara will be the Summer heat and humidity in Texas. But, as for now, it's my new favorite!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Definitely not for me. My lashes are very straight and are a pretty good length naturally. This mascara weighed down my lashes that even after I curled them, they would be straight/down within a few minutes after application of this mascara. I will say that the color is very opaque and black, and after l day wear it did not flake or smear. Unfortunately I cannot speak on the volume or length that this product gives as it was very difficult to discern with my lashes pointing down. I would consider trying a waterproof version of this as waterproof mascaras generally hold the curl to my lashes.

NOT HYDRATING. Destroyed my natural lashes

I originally had healthy long eyelashes and due to having very straight natural lashes I’ve had to curl them every day for the past couple of years (this just proves how strong my natural lashes are). At first when I used this product it worked well, I did notice clumping after one coat but I bought an eyelash comb and it worked just fine. After 2 weeks of using this mascara I have noticed my eyelashes shrink in size and volume as it has dried out and made my natural lashes very brittle. I tried applying a conditioner underneath to help but it has only gotten worse. Straight to the trash and now I have to spend more money on an eyelash serum. Spare yourself the hassle and damage and avoid this product.

I didn’t believe the hype but I didn’t try it and I’m so glad I finally did because it actually does curl your lashes that’s why I absolutely love this you don’t need to use lash curler I didn’t think anything could curl my long straight lashes but it actually does and I hate lash curler’s it’s just an extra time consuming thing and it doesn’t feel very nice and also dries my eyes out as I have dry eyes so this allows my lashes to just be as they are but then get that curl to them I don’t know any mascara that will actually call your lashes with this one well it’s pretty amazing!

BIG LASHES no Falsies!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I LOVE this mascara! Maybelline has done it again. I've been a loyal Maybelline user for years and now I have even more reason to stay loyal.
I love the big, long and full look that this Lash Lift Mascara gives my lashes. I no longer feel I need to enhance my lashes with falsies because the lift and curve brush puts mascara on every lash without the heavy weight that falsies can add.
I used Very Black and it is the perfect shade to add "WOW" to my eyes without coming off and getting flaky. I feel like my eyes are more expressive because I feel confident in my mascara, finally!
I will be adding this to my beauty routine and thanks Maybelline for continuing to be a great company and producing great products.

I brought this today. I opened the packet to find the wand to be broken and missing the brush to apply the mascara. I am so extremely angry at this as it was pricey. 😡

I have used so many brands and types of mascara over the decades and usually am quite happy with each one though some more than others. Maybelline The Falsies Las Lift mascara is the most amazing one I have ever used. I love how easy it goes on and gives me the look I like. I am astounded that I can use it on my lower lashes and it doesn't smudge at all throughout the day. Amazing! Then I can wash it all off easily in the shower with no residue. How is this possible? I am telling all my female family and friends to try it. Thank you so much for this wonderful product.

Broken wand. Very disappointed

So the only makeup I do wear is mascara. This stuff really inpressed me. Not only is does the wand really separate and lift but it goes on smooth and usually just one coat. I found turning the wand as it comes out helps but I have bought really expensive brands and not had the results that I got with this lash lift. I don’t get the falsie sizes however it does make it look like i actually have normal lashes and that to me is worth its weight in gold.

I am someone who is never happy with my mascaras, I've tried all the high end and drugstore and this one specifically in waterproof gives the most fluffy, long, volumized but natural, zero clump, full curl allll day. No flaking or smudging either.
If you're someone who wants to look polished and put together with a naturally stunning lash lift look, you will love this....it's the only mascara I feel is truly worth it and lives up to its name-falsies lash lift! Just use waterproof remover and this is life changing---please never discontinue this Maybelline!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I honestly wasn't impressed the first time I used this. It seemed like it smeared and definitely bled on my lower lashes after application. Not sure if it was because I put my glasses on though. To me it was harder to use because it's a big tube and brush. I prefer smaller brushes and tubes because they allow for precise and easier application. I can't really speak on the volume and length it gave me because it looked a total mess when I used it. It didn't feel heavy or gross on my lashes which I appreciate. I'll rewrite my review once I try it again.

The brush looks like any other mascara brush but once you apply that product you can definitely see a difference! My lashes didnt stick together as much compared to every other mascara I have tried which is a lot and I was very pleased! It does make my lashes look longer and fuller and last the whole day and night! This is my favorite mascara right now! Maybelline is stepping up their game and I love it!

I have sensitive eyes but this doesn’t bother at all. I also have oily lids, this doesn’t smudge or give me raccoon eyes. The best mascara.

After trying endless high end and drugstore mascaras, this is far and away the best. I used this for my wedding a few years ago after trying to find the best, but forgot to repurchase when I eventually ran out. Instead I wasted time and money on various high end mascaras for years that just didn’t perform as well, until I bought this again on a whim and was blown away. I have short, straight lashes that I curl every day, and this is the best mascara for my lashes.
Please never discontinue this, but I’d love to see it in burgundy or brown!

I do the blackest black in non-water proof bc the waterproof is hard to remove It is not clumpy. It glides on smoothly without being too shiny to where you can see the shine in your peripheral. If you hold the brush against the base of your lashes for a second it also holds your lashes up you don not need a curler. This is my go to for sure! * Tip....put on one coat then do another light coat.....your lashes will be soooo long and not spidery or cakey!

This mascara delivers Anazing results and does exactly what it claims. The brush shape allows you to reach all your lashes, even the ‘baby lashes’ in the inner corners and lengthens, separates without any clumping. I had heard a lot of great things about Falsies from Madeline but I hesitated to purchase yet another mascara that I thought would inevitably let me down. I really shouldn't have waited. Falsies Lashes doesn't clump, it doesn't give me scary spider eyes, and it didn't disappoint. My lashes were full, just the perfect length, and nicely even. It was a miracle! I noticed that it decently made my lashes a little thicker and longer. I use it on top of another mascara and find that I like using it that way the best. The intention is for my first mascara to keep the curl and lift, and this one to slightly thicken and plump. I think I’ll try buying the waterproof one next to see how it solves to keep curled lashes curled because the mom waterproof version does not

This eyeliner isn't clumpy and I can use it without having to clean off the excess with a paper towel like I do with a lot of other mascaras I've been using. It really extends my lashes, but it doesn't do much in terms of volume which is okay for me! I think the only downside is that this makes the curl in my lashes go away so I have to re-curl them after using it. I recieved this for free from Influenster!

And the brush is probably one of the best mascara brushes Ive used in a long time! This product really help to lift and separate my short sad eyelashes. I where do you want strip lash extensions every single day and I feel like this mascara was really able to count all of my broken off multiple different leg eyelashes and really lift and separate them! It did not do crazy things to volume eyes my lashes but then again I do have struggles finding a mascara. This product is perfect if you wanna have darkened eyes and a sense of mystery. It's great if you were wearing eye shadow underneath and wanna add a little something. However if you are looking for something to really bring volume to your lashes this is not the product.however it is still a really good drug store product

Honestly I already have naturally really long eyelashes so it’s hard to find anything that makes them extra long and full, but wow this mascara works so well! I usually use the rocket volume or lash sensational because those make them look pretty long and don’t clump and I HATE clumping so I’m also usually picky about that but this one doesn’t clump at all either and it somehow actually makes my eyelashes actually look ten times longer than the other mascara i use! I definitely recommend it.

I bought this to try as i usually have lash extensions and wanted to try going without them and reverting back to using mascara! The brush doesn't seem to work into the lashes! It just coats them with clumps of very tacky/flaky mascara! You can't work with it as it's not really pliable, drys quickly and clumps the lashes together which looks dreadful! Very disappointing and a total waste of money! I bought it from Woolies and would have taken it back for a refund if i had kept the receipt!

Long luscious lashes!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been getting lash extensions for 5 years. This year I decided to take them off and heal my natural lashes. When I was offered a free mascara it was like the makeup gods knew! As soon as I got it I wanted to see just how much my lashes have grown. Wow is all I can say! This mascara took my blonde, thin, lashes and made it look like I had falsies again! I did have some pooping on the tips and used a spooky to clean it up but overall my lashes were beautiful, long and black!

I find that drug store mascara is usually better than high end mascara and if for whatever reason the mascara doesn't work out at least it didn't cost a whole lot. This mascara didn't do wonders for curl but it did apply nicely. My lashes looked better with the mascara than without but I had to use a curler and after a couple hours my lashes lost their curl even with the mascara on. It didn't flake as much as other falsies mascaras that I've tried.

Causes eye infection

I am extremely disappointed with this mascara. Both my sister and I bought it, and after just one use, we woke up with severe eye infections! It has now been three days, and our eyes are still red, swollen, and irritated. This is completely unacceptable!!! A product that goes near the eyes should be 100% safe, yet this mascara has caused us pain and discomfort. I strongly urge others to be cautious before using it, and I hope Maybelline addresses this issue immediately!!!
