Maybelline lifter concealer

I have been using this product every day for a while now and I do like it, however I didn’t find it to be as full coverage as advertised. For my day to day I prefer a more sheer concealer anyway but it was definitely not full coverage. I could still clearly see dark circles and freckles through it. The product itself is quite gloopy. I also currently use a different Maybelline concealer and I much prefer that products consistency. It’s much smoother. The product is light weight and felt nice on my skin. I liked the applicator and bottle packaging. Even though it wasn’t bad, I would definitely stick to my other Maybelline concealer.

A Lightweight Concealer That Lasts All D

I tested the concealer from Maybelline for 1 week while going to work, and the concealer stayed in place throughout the day didn't melt or fade, even after several hours.
The coverage was excellent for my needs, effectively covering imperfections while still looking natural. I think I would have chosen a slightly darker shade for a better match, but I was able to adjust it easily with a slightly darker setting powder.
I also found the application very easy, and the texture felt smooth and velvety on the skin. Overall, this is comfortable, long-lasting concealer that delivers great coverage and a natural finish.

Great Everyday Concealer

I've been testing the Maybelline Lifter Concealer in (Shade 05) and really enjoyed the coverage it gives.
It helped hide redness & veins without looking dry or overly heavy.
The formula blended into my skin easily and had a smooth, lightweight feel while giving good coverage.
I wasn't a huge fan of the applicator because it didn't spread the product evenly.
It also could be a little difficult getting the concealer applicator out of the tube.
Even with those small issues, I liked the final result.
I would keep using it for my everyday makeup application.

Fairly good coverage

I fairly enjoyed the concealer. It covered my 3 hour sleep bags and helped cover my uneven skin tone (hard to see the tone difference in the photos)
If you have dry flaky skin, highly recommend having a good skin care routine / moisturiser so the concealer doesn't dry up and go flaky or cracked looking under your base how ever.
I used the concealer a fair bit, from nights out to work/everyday make up and I was fairly happy with it. I did like how the online colour chart was fairly true to the ordering pigments, so it did make choosing the correct/almost correct colour fairly easy too which is a bonus, as in the past when ordering colours has come not looking as what it did online or described to tone match.

This concealer has incredible coverage and a great applicator. I have been using it daily for about 3 weeks and cannot believe how easily it can be blended out with a beauty blender and the coverage that it gives. This has replaced all my expensive brands and I will be replacing this for them in my routine now. The colour match was great, and it provides such a lovely lightening for under my eyes and around redness on my nose. The only negative about the formulation is that it is quite thick and tacky, sometimes with little clumps in it, however, that being said, they are easy to blend out with a beauty blender! Absolutely love this concealer!!

Doesn't crease after a full day of wear!

I was very impressed with this product. I have trouble with concealer a lot of the time as I find it creases under the eyes after half a day of wear, or causes mascara to transfer because it is too oily. This product I found is high coverage even when applying a small amount, and blends out extremely well. I don't generally use setting powder, so I was amazed that it would consistently stay put all day without creasing under my eyes. It also covered blemishes very well. I used to avoid using concealer because I could never find that would work for me within the price range I can afford. I would highly recommend this product to family and friends, and will continue to be a user of this product for a long time to come.

Didn’t sit well on my face

Unfortunately this concealer didn’t do it for me. I like using concealer with and without other makeup products depending on the look I am going for.
I did find that this support minimising dark circles but it didn’t blend seamlessly into the skin like suggested.
As I like to use concealer on minimal makeup days, I tried using it with and without a primer just to even the skin tone in areas. When applying to my nose, forehead and some areas of my chin the makeup highlighted my nose pores. I tried with primer and the same thing happened which doesn’t happen with my regular concealers. On two occasions I removed my makeup at work as I felt it didn’t look good and was starting to split.
Unfortunately the shade was also a bit light for me.

Great full coverage concealer

I was looking for a full-coverage concealer to brighten my dark undereyes - and I'm so glad I found Maybelline Lifter Concealer! I really like how moisturising and nourishing it feels on my delicate undereye skin - it really does feel like skincare. It is quite rich in consistency, so a little goes a long way - don't apply too much or it will look cakey! I picked a slightly lighter color, but it blends nicely, so I still made it work. Next time, I will choose a color that's closer to my natural skin color. Overall, I'm quite pleased with it!

Looks Promising, but Didn’t Deliver for Me

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Maybelline Lifter Concealer in Shade 15 honestly looked so good online, but it just didn’t work for me at all. The shade was way lighter than I expected, and even when I tried using it as a brightening under-eye concealer, it kept separating and refused to blend — not with a beauty blender, not with my fingers. It was surprising because it’s promoted as ultra-hydrating and full coverage, but I didn’t get either. The one thing I do like is how lightweight it feels on the skin; it looks like a heavy, thick formula, but once it’s on, it’s actually very light. Still, performance-wise, it really didn’t give me what I expected.

Good Concealer

I have liked having the Maybelline Lifter concealer as a part of my makeup routine. It has good coverage and the colour works well with my skin tone. My under eyes didn’t feel too dry or cakey after applying which is a great bonus with concealer. I haven’t noticed any cracking and it doesn’t settle in to my fine lines.
The only downfall I noticed was that the product did often seperate in the packaging so just need to make sure you use the applicator to mix it together again on each use.

Not For Me: An Ashy, Underwhelming Concealer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really wanted to love this concealer, but it just didn’t deliver for me. The formula itself isn’t terrible, but the way it sits on my skin is. It turns noticeably ashy, especially under the eyes, and instead of brightening, it ends up dulling the whole area. It might be a shade mismatch, but even then, I’m not crazy about the finish.
It blends fine, but the end result just doesn’t look natural or flattering. With so many great concealers out there that give seamless coverage and a healthy look, this one falls short. Unfortunately, it’s not something I’d recommend, there are definitely better options out there.

A little bit goes a long way

This Concealer had a thicker consistency at first that blended out very far and smoothly, my first application I accidentally put too much on when adding what I normally would with other brands, but luckily it blends out smoothly and matched my skin tone well
This Concealer worked good for covering my dark under eye circles and helping hide my breakouts
It can be used as a stand alone product or with a full face of make-up blending well with my normal foundation

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Finding a concealer that works for very fair, neutral skin is difficult, but this one is perfect. Shade 20 leans slightly cool with a tiny hint of yellow, which balances well on neutral skin tones. The coverage is great, and I like that the formula is on the thicker side without feeling heavy.
I also really appreciate how little this concealer oxidises. In the photo, you can see it straight after application, after a few minutes, and once blended, there’s barely any change. The camera pulls it slightly more yellow, but in real life it matches neutral skin tones extremely well. Amazing quality for the price

Good coverage concealer

This concealer applies easily on to the skin and offers coverage that can be built up as desired. The texture was a little thicker than I anticipated but that was not an issue for me as it blended really well. I also found that the concealer was comfortable with wear all day and I did not encounter any issues with creasing.
As someone with quite prominent dark circles, this product did an amazing job at reducing their appearance, with a brigthening effect that I think I benefited from!
Overall, I would recommend this product to people wanting a concealer that can give them a moderate to full amount of coverage, wears well and provides some brightening to the under eye area.

Very good coverage

I really enjoy using this concealer, the brush is very soft and it’s easy to apply product needed onto skin. I used both a brush and sponge to work the concealer into my skin, and both results are great. The concealer is thick, creamy and easy to tab into the area you want it to stick too. Coverage of this concealer for my was quite medium and glowy, which I like. It stayed in place all day without smudging or getting dry.

Better than expected!

I am blown away the Mayballine lift concealer! I got a perfect match for my skin (25) and it really does just give your skin that little extra glow and brightness, I mean just look at my under eye area, it completely obliterated my dark circles! The best part is that I only used the tiniest amount to achieve this much concealment. So happy with this product, I think it will quickly become the first thing I reach for!

I didn’t mind the Maybelline Lifter Concealer. I tried colour 05 and as a pale person, I did find it a little too dark for my complexion. It has good coverage and dries down well. I found the doe foot applicator to be really big and stiff, which made application tricky. I also found the formula would separate, which was surprising. I liked it but there are other concealers I would reach for over this one.

I am really surprised by the Maybelline lifter concealer. I got a lighter shade for under my eyes and I am blown away. It is better than my high end concealer. It is brightening, only need a small amount it goes a really long way, it's got great coverage but feels like nothing it spreads very thin and bonus it doesn't crease under my eyes either. My new favourite concealer!

It has good coverage but it is not hydrating and doesn’t feel like it has serum on its formulation. The product is quite heavy and thick if you use a lot so will need to be wary to use sparingly and on targeted areas only. I have also chosen a shade that is lighter than my skin and so I only use this to cover blemishes and dark circles.

After receiving the product, when I swatched it in my hand it looked too dark for my skin. I really thought I got the wrong shade but when I tried it in my skin it melted like butter and matched my skin shade perfectly. I would still recommend getting a shade lighter but for natural no makeup look, this is perfect. Loved it sooo much.

Either I received the incorrect colour or the shades are very misleading online. The shade received is orange, and thick / cakes when applied.
Not at all suited to under eyes but works ok to cover redness
Doesn’t blend well because of the thickness and doesn’t set well under makeup

This concealer covers dark circles and redness well.
It has lightweight radiant finish and blends effortlessly. It doesnt emphasize fine lines as much as many drugstore concealers. The added peptides gives it a slightly hydrating feel, making it a good option for normal to dry skin types. Would definitely buy again.

I absolutely love this concealer. It covers all my blemishes, including pores and red spots leaving me with an even skin tone. The only thing is it’s a little bit heavy so just have to be careful applying, don’t put too much on at once. Lasts all day as well which is fantastic and definitely what you want.

Loving the Mayblline lifter concealer. Has full coverage and thick consistency that has help cover my skin blemishes and my dark circles. Makes my skin feel hydrated. So happy I got this even though the colour was a little dark I was still able to balance with my foundation. Definitely will purchase again.

Solid concealer

Nice concealer from Maybelline, mixes well with other products. It’s quite matte & full coverage & it does dry down quite quickly. Its also much light than it appears in the tube so bare that in mind. Not my go to but overall a good concealer and if you find a good colour match then it’s worth a try.

With great coverage and a light finish, this product has been my saviour. Lasting till the end of the day and still covering those bags under my eyes has been a miracle. I have normally stuck to cheaper brands for the sake of it, but this has made me consider a more trustworthy choice for daily use.

The finish looks smooth and bright, but I do find the formula is a bit thick and slightly drying. I make sure to apply a good amount of eye cream, so it sit nicely and not cling to dry patches. Once the under-eyes are well moisturised, it blends beautifully and gives a fresh, awake look. It gives really good coverage for dark circles and instantly lifts the under-eye area. On my light-medium skin, shade 20 works perfectly for brightening without looking grey or heavy.

Generally I think it does what is advertised. It over the dark circle around your eye, lays down well however it takes a little bit of time to get used to the formula as it is quite thick and goes a long way. It was a little white on my skin so I should have gone a shade darker.

Overhyped and unimpressed

I am a regular user of maybeline products, however this one did not deliver. The concealer was clumpy, separated, and had liquid coming out after every use. It provided medium coverage, but seperate under the eye after a couple of hours. I wouldn’t recommend.

This concealer is excellent for those who have dry under eyes! It provides moisture and doesn’t crease even after wearing it for a whole day! I am however not the biggest fan of the applicator as it is very thick and clunky but it isn’t the end of the world.

Maybelline Lifter Concealer

The concealer was brightening and provided medium to full coverage. I especially liked that the applicator held only minimal amounts of product and I didn’t find myself with lots of excess.
I would recommend this, especially as an under eye concealer.
