The formula feels lightweight and hydrating, with just the right amount of tackiness to lock makeup in place all day. My foundation applied more smoothly, blended seamlessly and stayed looking fresh without creasing or fading. I usually only use dewy finish products, but this primer worked perfectly with them, keeping the glow without feeling greasy. I was also impressed with how well it layered over sunscreen and played nicely with a variety of different products. No downsides at all – this has quickly become a staple in my routine, I will be repurchasing!

The texture feels super lightweight going on, almost like a serum, and then it sets with that perfect little ‘grip’ to hold my makeup in place all day. You don't need much either, a little goes a long way. I have typically just been placing it on my cheeks and forehead.

The serum feels silky smooth, and does not leave a sticky feeling on your face once applied. I was a bit worried initially when I applied it, as it did have that sticky feeling, but once it set (20-30 seconds) that feeling went away. Once my foundation was applied over the top, it did not move until i washed it off that evening. This is great, as my usual primer does not make my makeup last a whole day. It has a very subtle and pleasant smell, and you do not need to use a lot of product. I will definitely be buying this again!

I found the Maybelline New York Grippy Serum Primer great and easy to use. The GRIPPY serum is just that GRIPPY. When applying with my fingers on my face, I could feel the grip as the serum primer was drying. It spread quite well.

The product felt nice on my face and didn't feel heavy which was great. My makeup sat nicely over the top and yes did last all day. My foundation glued to my face, but still felt nice and smooth.

The bottle is the cutest shade of pink and I really like the applicator dropper to apply the serum primer onto my face.

This is a super interesting product. Applies easily and feels a bit like glue lol.. but never fear it gets better. I wear a SPF BB cream and this works brilliantly under it. My skin looked hydrated and refreshed and I didnt look patchy throughout the day.
I was not sure I needed another skin product to add to my routine - but alas I think it may become a staple. Would absolutely recommend giving this product a try.. super clever and does the job that you need it to do

Have tried quite a few and this one competes well with more expensive primers on the market. The packaging is super cute and there is a lot of product on this packaging as a little goes along way. One pump of the product and it smooths over skin. Feels lightweight and not sticky, greasy or oil. I let it sink into my skin for a minute before applying the rest of make up. Really noticed that my make up sat better on my skin especially around the eye and nose area. Would recommend this product and noticed my teen keeps pinching it. Would buy again.

I have dry skin and with some primers they can make my skin even drier or cause foundation to cling to patches, but I haven’t had that issue at all with this one! The bottle and dropper with the glass is very appealing. It was wasy to apply and felt soothing. It rubbed into my skin very easily and left a dewy coating on my skin making it look super smooth. It sort of glued to my skin but not in a tacky way. It made a beautiful base for my foundation and blush/bronzer. It make my makeup last all day without dry creases and wrinkles being apparent. Also there was no visible pores. When i washed my face it washed of really easily my makeup slid off and it went slimy upon water and cleanser on it. Really love this product

Given it includes niacinamide, i am sure with slightly longer use the visible lines will also decrease which is great for a primer. Give it a minute before applying your make-up and I found my make-up stayed longer, looked better and when wearing the grippy primer, make up gives a naturally dewy finish. Skin still feels hydrated and not dry towards end of the day and make up doesnt separate. Has an easy to use applicator to dispense product, and not much product is required for a beautiful finish. This is easily a new favourite primer and I will purchase again.
