When this product came out I was very excited because I love the entire line of the Fit Me collection from maybelline & was so excited to try out a loose powder because I want to be able to buy something so much more affordable that works just as good as high-end brands. The packaging first of all was very nice for a drugstore packaging. It looked very high/end & sleek which I loved. When I put the powder underneath we my eyes & I noticed that it felt really good underneath the eye , it felt very light & it didn't feel too drying like some other powders while I was baking but it did blend easy as well. I like this powder

…★★★★★ ★★★★★ 4 out of 5 stars.shandreab· 9 years ago[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] maybelline has definitely realized they are onto something with their Fit Me line, not this loose power!!! its really gonna give other products a run for their money, its super long lasting really good with controlling the excess shine, i got the shade medium deep complimentary, i used this with my fit me matte and poreless foundation and it applied really well, it wasn't too ashy and i did press it into my skin with my beauty blender which i think helped and it kept me super matte, the only con is that i wish there was a shade between medium deep and deep it would make the perfect color for me. thank you maybelline!

I normally have oily skin that gets oilier when I use a lot of product so this Maybelline Fit Me Loose Powder Foundation was the perfect lightweight solution. I used it directly on my skin sans concealer or liquid foundation and the cover is impeccable -- almost too much and I only used a little! That is why this product gets four stars: because just a little too much is WAY too much. I do love the smooth and matte finish look. It has been 8 hours and my skin is still not oily. I can definitely trust this product for the rest of this hot summer as well as something to use when I go somewhere tropical.

…★★★★★ ★★★★★ 5 out of 5 stars.debbie p.· 7 years agoI love a great loose finishing powder to help set my makeup and control shine. I absolutely loved the maybelline new york fit me loose powder. Firstly its so economical and lasts for ages, I have bought much more expensive brands and got the same result. The powder is easy to apply, I use a good kabuki brush and it feels nice and light to wear. The texture of the powder is fine and silky and gives my makeup a professional flawless finish. I love the hint of colour and the fact that there is four shades to choose from so finding a great match is easy. The mineral based powder controlled my shine all day, even my Tsection, a huge bonus. Love this product and I would recommend it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I loved the container this came in—the top is super deep for getting enough powder to really move your brush around. As you can see in the photo, I have acne prone skin, and I have a lot of scarring. Because of that, I don’t know that this powder was really effective for me. I used it with a tinted moisturizer for the photo because it is a finishing powder. I think it is okay for day-to-day, but I wouldn’t use this powder if I were going out for something important like a wedding. Even when I tried it with my normal full coverage concealer, it didn’t look as good as my usual finishing powder. I know the line is natural beauty, so I am sure that’s why it doesn’t have as much impact.

The formula is really soft and works wonderfully as a drug store brand setting powder, it does have a lint of sheer color to it so it adds to the coverage of your foundation. I personally prefer a translucent setting powder but this product is perfect for those who don't necessarily need or want to wear a full coverage foundation and would like just to wear a soft powder with a little color for a more natural look. I don't recommend baking with this product though, it got pretty cakey looking under my eyes and jawline.

Loose Finishing Powder. I received the shade "15-Light" and right off the bat I thought it looked too dark for me fair to light skin tone, but once I applied it over my liquid foundation, it blended nicely with my skin and looked like a pretty good match. It's definitely not translucent, so it does leave a tint/light wash of color. It set my makeup nicely in the beginning, but began to deteriorate throughout the day. Definitely not long wearing.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Maybelline Fit Me loose powder in shade light medium. I tested this on alternate days as either a base powder or a finishing powder. It has a satin/matte finish. After 3 hours or so the color seemed to oxidize orange as it mixed with skin oils. I have combination skin with some t-zone shine. As a finish powder, just a very very light application controlled my shine about 3 hours, not 12 as it claims. Anything more than a very light dusting seemed to cake up and accentuate my pores. Made in Canada. I will continue to test through the summer, perhaps the orangey oxidation may not be noticeable as my skin tans. If you find my reviews to be helpful please give a like ❤️ Thanks for reading.

I feel like this is a great multi purpose product, to set or use a light wash of color. It really did perfect the look of my skin and combated shine! I have combo skin and it did not emphasize my dry areas at all. The only think I didn't like was the packaging, it's so bulky for one and it doesn't have a seal for the powder so if you turn it upside down then open it up powder goes everywhere so not travel friendly. The product inside is amazing tho. It's now my go to powder for "no makeup, makeup" look.

I like this product however a makeup applicator would be helpful and makeup gets clogged up in tiny holes and there is no way to access the all powder , a way to open it up would be very helpful to use all the powder.

Consumer Care Center· 6 hours agoHello Cat26! We are so glad to hear that you love the formula of our Fit Me Finishing Powder, and we truly appreciate your valuable feedback regarding the packaging. To make your application as easy as possible, we highly recommend using a fluffy powder brush or a plush makeup puff, which allows you to gently press and blend the loose powder into the skin for a beautiful, airbrushed finish. If you find that the powder is getting stuck in the sifter, giving the closed jar a firm tap on a flat surface can help loosen and redistribute the product inside. For accessing those last remnants of powder at the very bottom, you can carefully pry the plastic sifter insert loose by gently sliding a flat, clean tool, like a cosmetic spatula or a butter knife, under the edge of the rim to lift it out safely.

★★★★★ ★★★★★ 2 out of 5 stars.JillyF· 11 months agoDreadful packaging - lovely powder.
The powder is excellent - soft, gentle and easy to apply - good coverage. The new packaging is just awful!! It makes it difficult to access the good product. The square shape is awkward to use and cannot be opened to access the remnants of product at the end. Additionally, there is now no powder puff provided - perhaps because of the square shape. The little round hole inside is too small to take a powder puff. I am breaking open square boxes to decant product to use in my remaining round containers. Please reinstate round packaging, removable internal lid and powder puffs.

Initially, I was worried about the color I received (medium/deep) because it appeared very light in the container. However it was almost a perfect match! It also helps that it is a translucent powder, so it actually worked well with my skin tone. I have found that just one layer of the powder is necessary over liquid foundation. When I applied 2-3 layers, it ended up looking a tad bit cakey. With the help of a good setting spray, this helped my makeup to last throughout my long workday. All in all, I am pleasantly surprised by this loose powder!

I am always on the hunt when it comes to a loose powder to set my makeup and my friends I think I have found my match! I applied this on my t-zone where I am normally more oily and it lasted me ALL DAY. Especially during the summer months, I can’t find any makeup products that will keep my face matte and not shiny until today! I applied it all over with a loose powder brush for all over coverage but I used a beauty blender to work it into my t-zone. You won’t be disappointed with this product, I can promise you!

Good loose powders are definitely tricky to find, especially affordable ones. This powder is probably my favorite and most used one at the moment! The formula is great- it goes on smoothly and leaves you with a matte finish. I do think that the powder works best and longer if baked. Otherwise in today's extreme summer heat and humidity I had to retouch my face powder twice, lightly sweeping it across my T-Zone. Great quality, especially for the price. Highly recommend!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was given this product free from Influenster I exchange for my honest review. I was very excited to see I was receiving this as I actually have the fit me loose powder in the shade darker (10 fair light shade) and it was a bit too dark for my under eye area so I was super happy to get this. I tried it for two days now and am very happy with it so far. It goes on very smooth and makes my skin feel super soft. It also is great as a finishing powder or if you like light natural makeup you could wear it by itself. I also use it for my under eye dark circles after color corrector and it’s really great for keeping the area smooth with no liquid setting in wrinkles. I will definitely be getting more of this once I run out.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is one of the best setting powders on the market. But there are a couple I like just a tad better. The difference is so miniscule though. This is a great drug store setting powder. The finish is matte and it really helps makeup stay in place and look better for longer. Some people compare it to Huda's loose setting powder and I put them up against eachother head to head. The Huda one is a little more finely milled, making it less detectable on skin. But this is close. If used sparingly it gets the job done without looking cakey. I found it works best by using a glowy setting spray on top to get rid of the powdery look. It's definitely worth it's weight, but I prefer others so that's why I gave it 4 stars and not 5.

I get really oily in some areas and this powder covered that and I stayed matte through the entire wedding. Even with the heat, I had no oily spots or anything, granted, I was using the maybelline fit me liquid foundation with this as well. Overall, this product is great and I love it!!

Then I had to pull really hard to peel it. So once it was finally done, it popped and powder went everywhere. So. Be careful when opening it. I don’t use loose powder typically in my makeup routines. So I put the lid back on and flipped it upside down to get some product in the well. I swirled a brush around in it and got a lot on. I had to tap the excess off. A little goes a long way. It blended into my skin beautifully, set my concealer flawlessly. It’s really mattifying on me. The only other thing, was it had an interesting smell. It didn’t linger too much longer after application. So that’s good.

I already use the Fit Me Liquid Foundation in 128 Warm Nude and the Fit Me Foundation powder in 220 which I believe is buff beige, however this is probably my favorite of the three. I bought it in Light Medium. I use it as a setting powder over my foundation and it really gives a nice smooth finish as well as keeps my foundation in place. Before using this powder I would get a little oily in the t zone by the end of the day. I also set the concealer under my eyes with it and it's not cakey at all, and no creasing! I previously used NYX translucent HD finishing powder but so far I like this much better.

I have been using Maybelline loose powder FOREVER...and would actually give this product 5 stars if it weren't for the new packaging. Since this change to the Fit Me branding, it's terrible I love the powder itself, but the container is AWFUL! The mouth of the container does not allow enough room for a big brush and/or the tapping of the brush to shake off excess powder. So much is spilled and wasted. Once close to the end of the powder, you can no longer remove the strainer portion to allow access to what's left. The square design was a big mistake. Sure, it's pretty, but it's not practical or functional at all! After being a loyal consumer for over 40 years, I am shopping around for other brands now just because of the new packaging.

I have used the Fit Me Matte + Poreless Foundation for the last couple of years with other powders and after 2-3 hours, I'll start getting shiny in the T-zone areas. For the last week, I have used this product and it works amazing. I have tried it both with and without foundation underneath and I must say, this gets the job done. Without foundation, it's light coverage which is perfect for the summer. (This product was sent to me complimentary by Influenster for testing purposes)

…★★★★★ ★★★★★ 5 out of 5 stars.amandatoryy· 9 years ago[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used the Maybelline Fit Me® Loose Finishing Powder last night for the first time and I would have to say it held up exceptionally well in the Florida heat! We went out to our favorite bar but the outside was the only available place to sit. I was worried about how the Maybelline Fit Me® Loose Finishing Powder would hold up, but every time I went to the bathroom and checked on it, it looked great! I was very pleased it held up on my face and still looked nice and fresh when I got home (many hours later!) I love that I got this for free from Influenster because it has opened up my eyes to powders - I have never been a fan until now! We are going to the beach for sunset tonight so I will be giving it another test - can't wait to see how it does!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The powder itself is fine. I don’t usually use loose powder all over my face but always where ever I use concealer. The powder can look cakey under certain concealers. Also not a fan that the powder is tinted towards skin tone as my winter shade is usually light/1 and my summer shade is light-medium/4-5. So I would need two of these powders and the packaging is quit bulky and I could see it being a problem to store in more makeup organizers as mine barely fits it. For the price, it’s a good powder, not my favorite but still okay

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received Maybelline Fit Me loose powder in shade light medium complimentary from influenster in exchange for my honest review.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I don’t use loose powder on a regular basis and definitely not all over my face, but when this came in the mail mid day I was looking quite shiny and needed a touch up. I used this powder just in the t zone and even a little under my eyes and it went on so smooth and seamlessly. There was a little bit of coverage without it changing the overall look of my previous makeup but took down the shine and set everything back into place. Will definitely continue using in my routine. This was sent to me for testing purposes.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this Maybelline FIT ME loose powder from Influenster in exchange for my honest review. So first off…..the sticker that’s on the holes when you first open it was so difficult to get off I thought there was something wrong with me at first lol. I had to call my boyfriend over to my desk to help me and he couldn’t even get it off. Took me like 15 minutes! This applies really easily and doesn’t feel cakey at all, in fact it feels like you’re not wearing any on your face at all and it made my face feel really soft. I have incredibly dry skin so it did cling to the dry spots around my nose a bit but I have that problem with most products, usually some good skincare beforehand helps significantly. All in all a very nice powder and I can’t complain about the price!
