The Falsies Lash Lift Volumising Mascara

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have a weird problem in that my lashes tend to curl towards my eyeball and cause a lot of irritation. As they get longer, which is something I want, I'd have to deal with this issue more often. The reason I wear mascara is to help lift my lashes up and keep them out of my eyes and this mascara actually does that. I took off a star because I do find it to be a little bit clumpy, but that could possibly be my application of it. I don't necessarily get as much last separation as I would like and I think that is due to the style of brush on the mascara wand. Overall it is a good mascara for providing that lash lift look especially if used after an eyelash curler.

Maybelline sure knows how to make a fantastic mascara! This is probably the best mascara I have ever used and I'm 60 years old. Gives gorgeous length AND volume, and it really keeps your lashes lifted all day! I have deep set eyes, and because of my age, I have very heavy droopy eyelids that almost sit on my lashes. I have tried so many other mascaras that look great when first applied, but after an hour or so, my eyelids cause my lashes to droop, and you can hardly see them. With this mascara, my lashes stay lifted all day and night, and NO SMUDGING!!! What more can I say, it is phenomenal!! Please, Maybelline, don't ever stop making this amazing mascara.

I’m Asian and I have short lashes though a bit thicker than the average. My go-to mascaras are usually Japanese brands because of the fiber formulas and the ability to hold the curl. Tried this one and I was very impressed! It lifted, lengthened, and thickened my lashes in an instant! Plus it stays put all day! And the price is super affordable. I’m definitely going to hoard this! If you have thin, sparse lashes this may suit you because the formula takes a bit more time to dry. But like I said I’m picky with mascaras because I need something that would hold the curl and give loads of volume and length. This one satisfies my needs! You nailed the formula Maybelline!

It gives my lashes a lifted, curled look—almost like I used an eyelash curler, but without the extra step. The black formula is rich and makes my lashes look bold and defined. I also love that it doesn’t clump often, even after layering.

The only reason I’m giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is that while it does last well throughout the day, it did bother my eyes a bit and it weights my eyelashes down after several hours, especially in humid weather. But overall, it’s a great mascara for achieving that lifted, voluminous lash effect without having to deal with falsies. Definitely worth trying.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Firstly, Maybelline mascaras are my favorite. I do like this mascara. It doesn't clump and it fans out my lashes nicely. Typically I curl my lashes before applying mascara and again after. I did not curl my lashes prior to using this the first time, but did curl them after, though I really didn't need to. So it does what it's advertised to do. However, I use waterproof mascara's exclusively, so I don't have a washable mascara for comparison. Loss of one star cause it does transfer to my lower eyelid after about 4 hours (like every other washable mascara I've tried has). I would probably give this 5 stars if this were waterproof because Maybelline waterproof formulas are best in my book.

Ive always been a fan of Maybelline and think they have great quality products. This mascara did not disappoint! I love how the bristles on the brush separated each lash and coated each strand from root to tip. My lashes naturally are straight and grown downward, this mascara made it look like I got a lash lift! It curled my lashes and added both volume and length. My lashes held out all day, I was beyond impressed! This formula was easy to wash off with no issues. I definitely plan to purchase this mascara again, I love it!

I love this mascara!!! I have used an eyelash curler for decades (yes - since I was a teenager)! I've had lash perms (lash lifts) and even lash extensions...I'm very picky about how my eyelashes look and I loved this mascara right away!! It really does lift your lashes and lengthens them without being clumpy and making you look like you have just a few eyelashes! It separates them! All the others I've tried make them clump together and then flake off as the day goes on. The real test of this mascara will be the Summer heat and humidity in Texas. But, as for now, it's my new favorite!!!
