Build-A-Brow 2-IN-1 BROW PEN AND SEALING GEL

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was given the 2 in 1 build-a-brow to trial from the beauty crew and I enjoyed the experience. Application was super easy and I liked the soft felt tip of the brow applicator.
My brows stayed in place all day and with the clear gel, it gave my brows the on-fleek look. Very impressed with the staying power. No smudging either.

I find you have to press a little hard to get product out but it is a buildable product so it requires you to go over spots or be a bit more heavy handed. This is due to the soft felt tip. It did fill most of the sparse areas of my brows.
I do wish they had a taupe shade as this is the shade I usually use. The soft brown was pulling too warm/red for me.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is such a great product and it's from the drugstore so it's more of an affordable price. That being said, a lot of stores have 50% off sales so I would definitely wait until it goes on sale for $14 - $15. It creates really thin and fine brow like strokes that look very similar to brow hairs and it lasts all day. Up close, you can tell the difference but not from a metre or so away. I have also tried the micro brow pencil in Maybelline, also in the same colour, medium brown, and I did notice that the Build-A-Brow tends to go a bit warmer than the pencil which stays neutral so that is something to note.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very user friendly and convenient, long lasting, but requires a light hand! The pen side is very pigmented and precise for fine lines to achieve the most natural look and the clear gel keeps all the hairs in spot! I have also used the gel on its own when in a rush and it helped my eyebrows look a lot more put together. The only reason it’s not 5 stars it’s because if you are not careful and take your time with the pen you can quickly overdo it which has happened to me on the first use as I wasn’t using a pen of this sort so far.However I will note that since receiving this product I have reached for it daily and it has replaced my more high end product. I definitely recommend it!

Having been part of the generation that over plucked our eyebrows to death I have spent years filling them in with brow pencils and stencils. Build- a - brow creates a natural look with the added bonus of being super easy to use and having the ability to create different depths and style to your brows with the thin tip being used to create a hair stroke effect, and the gel setting them
in place to keep them looking good for all day wear.

So easy to use, it takes only a few minutes to create a flawless look whilst still maintaining a natural appearance.

I like the fact that it is two products in one - one end has the brow pen and the other end has the brow gel.

The brow pen has a small tip which is beneficial to mimic eyebrow hairs. This also enables me to achieve a fuller brow illusion whilst still remaining natural looking - not too over the top.

The brow gel applicator removes any excess product. You can also add as much or as little as you like - depending on how laminated you want the look of your brows.

I would definitely recommend this product to anyone looking to sharpen up their brow game :)

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have quite thick dark brows but there are some gaps and my brow hair is a bit messy. It was a bit hard to get used to doing the strokes using the brow pen at the beginning but once I got used to it, it became easier. I was fortunate to receive the right shade for my brows so it really suited me well and added that natural look especially where my gaps were. I really like how fine/thin the tip of the brow pen, which made it easier to draw the strokes. My favourite is the clear sealing brow gel. Sometimes, i would just use the clear sealing brow gel on its own when I’m in a rush. It keeps my brow hair under control. I would probably buy this again just for the clear sealing brow gel.

I just love the Maybelline New York Build-A-Brow. The amazing fine tip makes it easy to draw hair like strokes and the shade is perfect, very natural looking. Gives a very perfect fuller looking natural brows in no time. The sealing gel makes the brow last longer until the face next wash. My eyebrows looked very natural but gave them a fuller effect.

The only thing which I didnt like is the sealing gel leaving a bit of a residue when dry.

I will definitely recommend this product, as it g8ves very neat looking brows without much effort.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This brow product is nice and easy to use, and I have found it handy to throw in my gym bag for an all-in-one everyday brow product. For me, the product works best to deliver a more natural looking brow, and does have decent longevity in terms of performance. I wasn't super impressed with the individual components, I do think that there are better options out there at a similar price point, but the handiness of having both the pencil and gel in one product does have it's benefits. I probably wouldn't repurchase at full price, but if I could pick it up with a considerable discount I would consider it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I went in with high hopes for this product. At the start of the brow the pen gives a nice feathered brow look. However the rest of my brows need a bit more work to be fuller and fill in gaps, the pen unfortunately fell short. It was difficult to draw on the skin and gave a flat 2D appearance compared to my favourite Maybelline ultra slim brow pencil. The clear gel lift the brows and kept them in place but didn’t give the fuller brow laminated look I’m used to.
Ideally this product would be great for someone with thicker brows who need a light touch up of sparse areas and to hold the brows in place.

It survives sweaty yard work and a sweaty gym workout without as much as a brow out of line. I was so impress how compact and easy this product is to use.
The colour was gorgeous. It does take patience to get it right. I am not that great in filling in my brows, so this product was great for me. Easy to use, hard to make an error!

I am and will always be a Maybelline stan and this product does not disappoint!

Firstly it is super easy to use, the liner tip is a perfect size and really allows you to build up and blend for however much you need. The colour is spot on - definitely doesn't overpower my colouring and blends in nicely with my brows, it also doesn't leave that crunchy residue some gel products have!

I also love having the two in one option, I personally love to touch up my brows at the end of the work day, so this is my new go to throw in my handbag product, ready for me to quickly do a final once over.

I have tried other liquid brow products before that have made my eyebrows look very unnatural and drawn on but the applicator for Build-A-Brow helps with this. It's a very thin tip that allows me to draw hair-like strokes in the gaps of my eyebrows for a more naturally filled look. My favourite part of this product is the clear gel because it had no white cast and didn't leave my brows feeling crunchy. I would recommend using both of these products as the gel does a fantastic job of setting the liquid brow strokes in place to avoid smudges.

I found the thin tip was not able to apply enough product to be able to create the feather look and instead would need to push the length of the sick on my eye brows to be able to have any colour transfer to my brows. The colour was ok and the product was long lasting as describe however that is the only positive thing I say about this. The brush on the gel end was too small to cover the width of my brows and was not strong enough to hold the shape of my brows. Also as the packaging of gel is clear it would discolour in the tube as the brush would collect foundation and brow colour when applying.
Overall I would not recommend this product nor would I purchase.

The maker has a very thin tip that allows me to draw hair-like strokes in the gaps of my eyebrows for a more naturally filled look. The Ash brown shade is perfect for my dark brown hair. My favourite part of this product is the clear gel because it had no white cast and didn't leave my brows feeling crunchy. An easy-to-use product that gives soft seamless brush strokes to build the perfect brow. I love how you can use this product to create either a soft everyday look or a bold occasion look depending on how you build it (and probably what shade you use). I used to spend a fortune getting my brows done, and this gives me such a similar look to a salon-done brow, at a fraction of the cost. I would 100% recommend this, and I will be purchasing this over and over again!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was excited to try this build a brow product but was disappointed by the product not dispensing from the wand, on first time use I thought it was light due to the initial use of the product however after shaking the pen and trying again the product still did not appear on my skin and I gave up after a couple of days of trying. Not sure if the product was old and the liquid had dried up or what. I did try looking it up on YouTube and followed the instructions but still had no luck in using it. I am disappointed but would try this product again as the idea sounded really good.

I had my brows feather stroked years ago and eventually would like them done again as they have almost fully faded away.

I and so pleased with this build a brow as it has given me the same look. Using the coloured end first I take the brush tipped end and gently follow along my brows filling in the gaps using upward strokes. Once I’ve done this from start of brown to end i use the sealing gel brush to seal the colour and shape of my brows.

My brows look naturally filled and the medium brown blends in fantastically with my brow colour. It lasts all day and also washes off easily you can’t tell it’s a makeup product it looks really real. I highly recommend build a brown and will continue using it.

It stays on and doesn’t smudge at all, and I love how natural it looks, so much better and easier then the brow pencil I was using prior. I would recommend everyone to try Build-A-Brow! I also love the gel that sets it, even after exercise and sweating I found that this didn’t smudge at all. Hands down is now my number one favourite brow product! This is the perfect product for anyone wanting to define their brows and have them looking natural. This has given me more confidence then I normally have as I used to use brow pencils and my brows would always look smudged or rub off by the end of the day. Such a fantastic product!

I was wondered with its long lasting quality as it stays until i removed it. The color goes really well with my brow and it gives a natural look. I use it for everyday base and amazed with the brow look it gave. As it comes in two in one pack, i must say its very handy. Doesnt take much time to apply and it perfectly finishes the look. As somebody who is not very artistic nor am I great at doing my makeup, this was so easy to use.

I've always been very nervous doing my brows, as it is often too dark, but this builds so delicately, and the end result is so much more natural. If I made a mistake, it was easy to clean. I tried it on my hand and it's so smooth.
The worst thing is the dryness of eye liners you sometimes have to put water on it but this pencil was so nice to apply.

I highly recommend this product. I used the Black Brown.
Especially being 2 in 1 means fewer things in my makeup bag!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is an ok product if you are looking to do your brows at home - by itself it was a little meh, but when i used with a combo of other likers then a brow glue it wasn't too bad. I am vary fair and the lightest shade still seemed a little dark for me but really was easy enough with the built in brush. had a pleasant smell and texture, and also stayed on pretty well for the day, had to ruse remover to take off. I would only recommend it it is on sale as full price seems a little much for what it is, but it was easy to use especially as i dont often do my eye brows

The tip of the pen end is very thin, soft against skin, and great for filling in thinning areas of my brows. Depending on the pressure applied, you can also adjust the thickness of the brushstrokes. I was provided with the shade Black Brown which matched my brows perfectly. The gel end is my favourite – the brush was applied accurately and the clear gel formula dries down quickly but does not leave my brows feeling too stiff. I like that the gel tip is see-through so I can easily see once the gel runs out. Overall, this product helped enhance my natural brows and did not leave it looking artificially touched up.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Works well to fill in gaps inbetween my natural brow strains. The clear keeps everything in place and the colour. But it's just a bit too much. Makes my eyebrows look like they are completely fake after adding the clear. Have tried to use less but very difficult to apply with the brush. This product would be amazing if the clear and rhe applicator is modified to look more natural. The colour matches my own great. Near perfect. The easiest match I've ever had. Great little addition to my routen. Will probably purchase again to fill in any brow gaps I have......

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was a great product to try if you like natural and soft looking eyebrows. The colour was perfect for my almost black eyebrow hair. I found that the brush tip was fine and flexible which allowed me to create natural looking brush strokes that would look like real hair. The only downside to this brush tip is if you do prefer a bolder brow this product may not be for you and you may prefer a brow pencil or pomade. I love that there is a little brush with some gel. I prefer the smaller eyebrow spoolies as there is more control over the application. The gel is clear and works nicely. Again if you prefer bolder brows you may prefer a coloured gel.
Overall the product is great and does what it says for natural looking eyebrows.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After my skincare and following the instructions I shake the brow pen then using light strokes from one end of each brow to the other I lightly fill in my brows. Once allowed to dry (approx 15 seconds) I comb through the sealing gel into shape.

The ash brown I received blends in great for my brows it fills in any gaps and more sparse areas I have on my brows. The fine brush tip allows you to easily control how much you apply at a time only a little comes up which allows you to lightly fill them in or build them in more depth if you desire.

My brows look like they have been professionally done, it doesn’t look like typical eyebrow makeup it looks much much better. Go out and get yourself a build-a-brow it’s totally worth it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] looks very natural when used correctly.Lasts a very long time in my opinion.When shaping and filling in my eyebrow it was very easy because the tip makes it look natural and each stroke blends in.I got the darkest shade because my eyebrows are pretty dark it blended pretty well the only thing i would change about it is that the colour could be kinda ashy sometimes.I also like thgat the product has a two in one on each side so its noit to much effort or taking up to much space in your makeup bag.overall i probably would buy it again if I was looking for one.
