Colossal curl bounce waterproof

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The first thing I noticed was a way thicker formula, but in a good way! I also really liked the clever design of the brush! It had a kinda curvature shape and fat, traditional brush bristles! Which I love, of course! It makes it easier to grip onto all your lashes as you apply! Now for the results, let's talk about them! :) I applied three coats of the formula and found that my lashes still looked nice, wispy and separated, with volume at the base and a defined curl. I then went in with a few more coats to see how things held up, but found things got a little too clumpy, for my liking, everyone else is different, but I would reckon three coats is the absolute sweet spot!

The applicator deposits way too much product on long lashes, and isn’t a mascara you can apply multiple coats without looking like you have spider legs over your eyes. However, it does add volume and length. The mascara is waterproof as it claims. So those are for positives! I could see this being used for someone who doesn’t wear a lot of makeup and only needs a quick swipe of mascara.

The wand did make the mascara easy to apply and went on my lashes beautifully without and clumping or smudging. I did also find it did provide a little bit of a curl to my lashes as well. The formula is most definitely water proof as it states in its description and so I would definitely recommend if you are looking for a lightweight, easy -to-apply, waterproof mascara. The only downside I experienced was removing the mascara when taking my makeup off and cleaning my face, as I have difficulties with when wearing any type of waterproof mascara, so I do not believe it was this specific formula of the mascara that was difficult to remove.

I again had to swirl it a bunch to get product on and it still is very dry/barely there. Not a mascara I would buy since I like the dark/full lash look but it wasn't horrible.

This specific one I do not recommend I don’t know what the shelf life is or if it was sitting for a long period of time before it got shipped out but it was incredibly dry I could barely even get any on my eyelashes. The mascara that I was able to get on the eyelashes didn’t come off with my face wash or anything I had to sleep with residue left on my eyelashes. Incredibly dry and waxy at the same time. Do not recommend but I do love other Maybelline mascaras

The blackish brown color was too red toned for my liking and toward the end of the day I noticed it flaking onto my face just slightly. I never wear waterproof mascaras because of how hard most are to take off and this one was no exception. Not sure why it was flaking? Most waterproof mascaras tend to flake less. There's better mascaras out there for the same if not better price so I wouldn't recommend this.

There is a really nice black pigment to color the lashed, was fairly light in feel, and does help to intensify the look of my lashes. I can also vouch for the long hold after wearing it for 12+ hours on a trip with friends and it did not bleed or melt. Though my only real issue is how clumpy is. Each time I have used it so far, it makes my eyelashes a bit clumpy. The picture included was after roughly 2 hours of wear when first trying it in the process of washing off my makeup. Otherwise, I really loved it.

I noticed some lashes would be clumpy while others were sparsely coated. I have to go back to clean up after applying because it is a bit messy and some of my eyelashes would have too much product and clump together. It wears off a bit throughout the day. This could be in part because I am used to black mascara and it wasn’t as dark, but it seemed like my lashes weren’t looking as thick by the end of the day. I would not purchase it again as there are other products I like more.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the length and the volume/bounce that this mascara achieves. I love the brush, big, fluffy and curved. The color is great for a natural look. It is absolutely waterproof, but not irritating. What problems I’m running into- light clumping, not terrible but not good. Dries extremely fast. If you mess up, you can’t just recoat- you have to accept it, work it out with a tool or start all over (this is likely because it’s waterproof) but unfortunately I’m not fast with my left hand. Which brings us to the conclusion: Typically I use Loreal Voluminous, but lately they’ve changed the formula or something. It’s not the same. I like this mascara much better. Long lasting. I’m likely lacking in technique ;)

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I did not like this mascara at all. I know it's waterproof but it was honestly terrible. As soon as I put it on all of my eyelashes stuck together. The formula was dried up and sticky. And it was so sticky that even my best cleansing oils and balms couldn't get it off of my eyelashes without ripping them out. So I had to wait a week before it all finally came off and quit making my eyelashes stick together. Hands down the absolute worst mascara I've ever used in my entire life and I've tried A LOT! This went straight in the trash. I wouldn't recommend this to anybody!

I have tried other mascara's from the colossal line before and they were very effective so i was excited to try this mascara. The product comes in a catchy yellow and white tube. The yellow wand/brush is curved to help cover every lash to allow for more bounce. The mascara allows for 24 hour wear and is smudge and flake resistant. I found the mascara easy to apply and the brush worked well for applying the mascara to all my lashes. I did not notice the instant bounce/curl but i did notice that my lashes looked thicker and longer. I found the mascara lasted all day long and I didn't notice any flakes or smudging at the end of the day.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I wasn’t a fan of this mascara which surprised me since I adore Maybelline mascaras. What I disliked the most was how waterproof it is. I had to use a lot more makeup remover than I normally do for it to come off. When I woke up the next morning and washed my face I found even more around my eyes. My lashes barely have any natural curl and I thought this mascara would help judging by the name. I was disappointed when I could barely see a difference in curl at all! I will always continue to try new Maybelline mascaras but this will not be one I purchase.

This is actually my very first brown black mascara! And I LOVE it! It is so so natural looking! I have a blond hair and pretty light brows so when i use black mascara it makes my look too un natural. But with this one, it’s just so nice and pretty! I also love the wand! It literally takes all the extra product from it and lives lashes so pretty! And look and the length! It’s a dramatic yet super natural change!deff recommend!
