VOLUM EXPRESS® THE COLOSSAL® WASHABLE MASCARA

It makes your eyelashes really long and up but it’s impossible to get off. Is there like glue in this cause you literally can’t get it off. I got it on my eyelid and usually with a cotton swab and saliva u can just wipe the mascara off this one it didn’t come off I used makeup remover and it still didn’t come off!!! It’s terrible do not buy this mascara. I’m trying to get it off right now and it’s not coming off I’m scrubbing!!!!

This was a no for me. I purchased it once for a change, because I usually go with the Maybelline Volum' Express® The Falsies Flared® Waterproof Mascara (or whashable) but I was disappointed with this product. I don't like the formula since is creamy but liquid-ish. Every time that I used to apply it, I had to wait a couple minutes for it to dry. It's too clumpy. And indeed, the final look is very voluminous and colossal but not in a good way. Plus, it comes out so easily. I mean, I know is washable, but is way too washable. This was just a no for me.

Maybelline colossal mascara is perfect for volumizing and separating lashes. The good thing about this mascara is it doesn't clump the lashes and you get good volume without spidery lashes look unless you go for second coat without first drying plus it does hold the curl for very long. On the other hand it doesn't add much length to your lashes. So if you are looking for natural looking volume this can work for you. The wand bristles are thick which work for you. The wand bristles are good for upper lashes but not for lower it can poke your eye.

I remember using this mascara when I was in high school and my eyelashes were amazing, I am now 26. And have worked for a plethora of different cosmetic companies, and have really tried all there is to try out there. I bought this on a whim the other day, and am in love again. BUT! the tube i actually love the very most was the Volum' Express Turbo (in the black tube, without the red writing). That one was just the BEST. I have looked everywhere online to see if I can find it, but sadly cannot. Will you ever bring that one back Maybelline?

Just now trying this mascarra, & I'm Hooked! It does exactly what it says! As soon as I applied I seen immediate results. I had a different mascara one the other eye, & the difference was great! The weather was 90° & I didn't experience any flaking, or irritation. The only thing that is a minor con, is I wish they had a darker black. I purchased glam black (darkest black store had). I usually go for a richer black color, but I will take what I can get. No clumps. Separation, volume, & lengthening instantly. Also held curl. #winning

I've used other Maybelline mascaras before, but this one WOW! I only ever use one coat of mascara and people thought I had put on fake lashes. The volume is amazing! I also have not noticed it flake on bit. I wear contacts so I get the washable kind and I feel like unless you rub your eyes like crazy (which who would do that with makeup on...) your lashes will stay perfect all day like mine have. I'm very happy with this product. I actually only came on the Maybelline website to say so. :)

I absolutely love this, i think its the best mascara, you can see the difference it makes in two swipes and the price is right. You can literally pick it up almost anywhere so its a nice go to for the price. The only reason this is not 5 stars for me is the fall out after a few hours of wear some black speckles can be found under the eye which is really annoying and for any other product it would be a no go but this product is just so good ill deal with the one issueq

The first thing I noticed was that it had a really pleasant light floral rose scent. The second thing I loved about this mascara was the brush. It really seperated my lashes and made them look great without clumps. The black color was perfect for my sparse, thin lashes. I can't wait to buy a bigger tube. I will carry the mini in my purse because it's such a convenient size.

I've been using this for over 6 years hands down was the best even better than better than s3x mascara but now it's changed way to much product comes out and dries up way to quick, seriously 1 week use is all I get out of it now then after a week all you will get is those nasty spider lash! before almost a month so I know its different when you use something Faithfully you can tell these things please fix it or I have to find a new mascara it frustrates me

It stays on all day and never needs to be re-applied. The brush is silicone/plastic/rubber which I think is what truly sets this apart. The mascara NEVER and I mean NEVER gets clumpy. The brush separates my lashes and evenly coats each one to make them look FULL and long. This is my go to brand now. I will be buying a couple to have on hand.

I absolutely LOVE this mascara. I have medium length lashes and this makes my lashes look like theyre on crack..in a good way that is. I love how its so light, and not to mention it is soo easy to wash off! I cant stand when some mascaras are so waxy they stick to your face right after you wash it, but not this one. It comes right off with no hassel. This is the only mascara I buy and I will continue to buy it as long as its on the shelves.

It worked well at staying on all day, especially during this hot Arizona heat. I had no smears and it was not clumpy. It was very easy to apply. I liked the way the package felt and the brush felt as I applied it to my lashes. I just wish it gave my lashes a little more length but my lashes are very short like me! Otherwise a great mascara.

I'm not someone who spends a lot of money on mascara because I wear false lashes all the time. But this mascara is wonderful. I use it on my top and bottom lashes and it makes them look so voluminous and wonderful. It is inexpensive and can be found in many drug stores so it is easily found. I would definitely recommend this mascara because it does the job that it is supposed to do, is cheap and makes your lashes look long and thick.

I recently purchased two new tubes of this mascara and it’s been a favorite for years. But now it flakes, doesn’t give any length or volume (yes I’m using it correctly), and leaves a weird waxy build up on my lashes. It took me forever to try and get this stuff off, even with the maybelline oil free makeup remover.

Please bring back the old formula, stop trying to make ‘minor changes’ to products that were perfectly fine before.

From reading other reviews I see no response if this is going to be fixed or plans of going back to original formula. I also have used this mascara for a long time and now it flakes and by end of the day i have raccoon eyes. Recommending another of your máscaras doesn’t give me confidence to try. My question is , has this issue really been addressed can we, long time customers expect to have the great mascara back any time soon ?

A full 5 stars for Maybellines Colossal Mascara. Its super easy to apply; the mascara itself is made very thin, but the longer it’s open, the more the product thickens and, in my opinion, is better able to be used. This mascara is probably in my top 3, was purchased at a Five Below for a very reasonable price, and if you get the waterproof, be sure to get makeup wipes! Because it lasts for nearly 2 days without. Would recommend!

I have thin and droopy lashes and this came just in time for date night, I put it on and WOW the difference in my eyes was crazy!! I have taken to using this even when I dont wear a full make up. I buy the Colossal Maybelline Mascara at Walmart. Initially I had not issues and loved it. The past 3 times I have purchased this mascara it already seems dried out or old. The most recent tube I purchased seems like it is waterproof. You cannot was it off. I am disappointed in the fact that the quality seems to be fading and inconsistent. I wear contacts and cannot have flaking or "perfumie" smelling mascara.

I love this mascara! It's super inexpensive and always goes on my lashes smoothly. It usually lasts me a long time and does not clump up my lashes. It's great for adding extra length and thickening up the appearance of your eyelashes. I always have this in my makeup bag, whether I am using it alone or in combination with another mascara. It also helps that it is super cheap and you can literally find it anywhere

I’ve been using this mascara for years now and loved it. It used to make my lashes look full, long and beautiful. Always used to get compliments and asked what mascara I was wearing. People would even ask if they were extensions. Since the tube changed I feel this mascara is not the same. My lashes are now clumpy, and it doesn’t give me as much length either. Loved the old formula they need to bring it back.

I've always used Rocket Volum' but as I couldn't find it in Mexico, I bought this one.
I don't like that the brush has less stiff bristles, which make it more difficult to apply so I end up with plenty on my eyelids. The bristles also stick together which makes for clumpy application. I also find that at the end of the day, most of the mascara is gone... I definitely wouldn't buy this specific item again.

In only 1 coat there is a major difference. It is very waterproof and stays on. The only drawback is it takes a little while to dry which can make it hard to build up multiple layers without smudging. I would definitely reccomend this mascara. Amazing volume for a good price.

This Maybelline colossal mascara comes in two variants-one is waterproof and the other washable, so you can choose accordingly. It adds volume to your lashes and makes them appear fuller without clumping even when you apply 2-3 coats. It opens up your eyes and makes them appear bigger too. The bristle of the wand make the application easy and the consistency is also good i.e. neither too runny nor thick.

I've been using this mascara for years, it was my absolute favorite. Why did you change the formula? It's absolutely horrible now. Flaky, doesn't last thru the day, and it clumps. I'm not sure why companies do this to super popular products. You try and fix something that isn't broken- thanks how you lose loyal customers. Please bring back the old formula. Until then, I'll be buying a different brand.

I don't know what has happened in last year, but this product is simply not the same as it was. At first, I thought I have bought an expired one, but no, different shops, same result. Very little effect, you need to put layers of product to make it look decent and the final result is very dissapointing. The colossal used to be my number 1 mascara, but unfortunately, I am not going to buy it anymore.

The smell does not corrode the eyes. Lasts a long time, does not crumble. Definitely the best mascara. Perhaps the only one for me. Although perhaps the tube shape itself and the yellow color look simple, but the product itself does not become worse from this.

I don't wear makeup every day, but this is the mascara I have used. It does what I need it to, making my lashes more distinct, bringing out the brightness of my eyes. One thing I don't particularly like is that when I put it on, it takes a bit to dry, so if I blink too soon after putting it on, it gets on my lower lids and I have to touch up my makeup. Otherwise, I'm quite happy with this product.

I love maybelline because I feel like the products are pretty great quality but super affordable! This is a good mascara but I just wasn’t a fan of the brush and how big it was! I also prefer my bristles to be closer together but overall this product was great! It didn’t leave my lashes clumpy or spidery and I also liked that it didn’t leave my bottom lash line looking all dark after applying!!!
