This powder really surprised me — in a good way! I have combo skin, and it kept my T-zone shine-free for hours without looking cakey. Do you need to try this powder!

This powder is very good since it helps to mattify and the smooth finish without pores. I have combination skin with a tendency to oil and on times my skin has a lot of shine but when applying this powder I could see that my face looked much more matted and with a soft appearance and my pores did not look so dilated. If you have oily skin, this powder is ideal for you! It is a non-commedogenic powder so I feel safe to use it and without risk of having comedones. I highly recommend it, it has many shades. Thank you Influenster and Maybelline for this opportunity to try this product.

Horrible feel and look

I normally use the Maybelline stay Better Skin pressed powder but as it was no longer at my store,I figured I'd give maybelline another try with the Fit Me. Worst purchase ever! The shade(after trying multiple) didn't fit my skin whatsoever. It felt like it was drying my face out (like talc almost) and sat in my skin like someone blew dust in my face.
Will never purchase this again. Ordering the Better Skin powder from anywhere I can find it as it seems it won't be carried in stores anymore. Literally all my cosmetics are from Maybelline, but I may have to try another now for pressed powder that I can purchase locally.
No, I do not recommend this product.

Affordable matte finish for my drugstore girlies

Today I’m going to be trying the Maybeline-Me matte powder and let’s start with the shade range! The shade range was on point for my skin tone, I am a little more tanner and this helped give me a little lighter touch. The packaging is a cute little compact square box that comes with a circular sponge to help with the finished look. The texture is a soft and powdery matte feel. I personally love more of a translucent finish instead of a matte finish for like summer time. I will say I will recommend this product to anybody look for an inexpensive matte finish for drugstore makeup.

It's very brightening, which is something I always look for in a powder. Since this is medium coverage, I prefer to use this to set my face, but not my under eyes. You can use it on your under eyes, lightly, but I think there are better options out there for that. I love that it has a matte finish, perfect for this summer weather! It lasts throughout the day with my foundation and setting spray, so I will be reaching for this in between my other favorite pressed powder.

This is perfection. Light to medium coverage, mattifying without drying out the skin. Blurs pores and imperctions. You can use it as a powder foundation, tinted setting powder, or a finishing powder (my favorite way to use it). There's something so luxurious about the formula and compact. Please don't ever reformulate this powder. It is one of the only powder foundations I can use that looks like my skin but through a beautiful filter. I bought this years ago and loved it then, bought it again this week and had forgotten how amazing it is. This is definitely going to be a staple in my kit.

Lasts pretty well all day

I have been a Maybelline customer since late 2010, back when they had the old formula. This is my first time trying out the matte translucent powder and I must say that this works pretty well throughout my day. I use this in my T-Zone underneath my FIT me foundation in the color 338 Spicy Brown. I think these go well with each other.
I gave this 4 stars because of the claim "lasts 12 hours" is not even true. I don't think that any powder can last for that long especially in a hot climate.
Just wish that Maybelline had more shades for brown friendly tones between 330-360.
Don't add more shade ranges in the Matte + Poreless and not even add more shades in the Matte + Poreless powder department.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The packaging is cute. I like that. It comes with a mirror and a little compartment to hold the sponge inside. I don’t feel like I get any coverage from this at all. I don’t really like that when I apply it, it almost seems to highlight the little hairs on my face that you normally would not see. It also seems to go inside my pores leave a little white dots on my face. This might be good for someone who has perfect skin.
It does feel light on my skin like it’s almost not there . Doesn’t have any sent to it and it doesn’t leave my skin feeling oily. I actually feel like it helps absorb some of the oils from my other make up. This is just one product that I feel like I don’t need to add into my regimen.

I know this powder has been around for a while but I never bought it because I thought it would be like any other powder. I was pleasantly surprised when I found that it blurred my pores beautifully, blended great, matched me prefect and was pretty pigmented. It does NOT stay matte for 16 hours. No makeup last that long and I would not wear makeup for that long any ways. This powder last just as long as my foundations do which is about 6 hours. I gave it five stars because the other claims are accurate and it's a cheap powder that does the job very well and I will continue to buy.

Go light and powdering, or pack it on. Very good coverage and you don’t need a ton to even out your skin tone and give your skin a much better texture. Slightly minimizes pores. A lot better if you add a primer. This is a true matte powder. Almost a little too matte for me. I find that if I build a couple layers it just feels heavy and I don’t like that so I’ll stick to setting my makeup lightly. All in all, great dupe for the price point.

I love the ease of use. The sponge makes it very easy to apply the cream. The compact design is perfect for carrying in your purse for touch-ups through the day. Need darker cool colors and practical packaging

I would give the product a 5 rating in a heartbeat, but color choices and packaging would be a 1. I love this product for its application and smoothing look. I am in my sixties and want some coverage but nothing too heavy for daytime use. This product does that. However, I can’t use the product in the late spring, summer and fall when I am lightly tanned. The current tint choices seem to be warm based rather than cool tones. Creamy Natural with its slightly pink, blue based tone works well in the winter but absolutely not in other months. Please, please add other colors keeping in mind those of us with pink, cool skin tones. The packaging...an easier to use, way less bulky and more convenient to use compact would certainly be an improvement.

My perfect shade!

I rarely change my makeup because i have sensitive and acne prone skin, but my make up kept coming out with the slightest orange hue. I'm very pale with almost no color, and like to keep it that way lol. I had been using the lightest shade in another brand for years. I decided to try this in the translucent 100 shade and its perfect! My make up comes out so much better and has not bothered my skin either. I hope this one never goes away. Love the big mirror too, just wish it was on top to have open at the same time as the make up.

If im just looking for a little light makeup that day or to just cover some redness on my cheeks this is my go to! It also helps when your in the heat and getting a little oily to just tap a bit on your nose or wherever you see some shine. If IM going for more of full on glam look then i put on regular liquid foundation then top it with this. It makes my makeup like a second layer of skin! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Ok, I love this and actually was perfect because this is the exact one I have been using for years!! This is one of my “holy grail” products. I’m not big on foundation, but I always have to have this in my bag. It goes on really nice and provided you actually keep up with your skin care routine, doesn’t set in lines or dries you out! I always dab this on with the provided puff and then use a brush to distribute anything better, and I’m done! Love love love it and I don’t see myself changing this product any time soon!

Good product

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am a big fan of maybelline overall but I also love this powder. More recently I have gone for a less is more look and I use my tinted moisturizer and finish it with the matte and poreless powder to set everything down. I like that is covered just enough without being too much, there is hardly ant fallout and the packaging is pretty much how it’s been all along so it has recognition. I already buy maybelline products so I will definitely continue using their products since they are great and at a good price point.
