      Great Lash, still great!

Great Lash is the ONLY mascara that doesn't break my lashes....my lashes are very long and Great Lash keeps them soft, very long and curled!

      Long time buyer very disappointed

Three months ago I would have given five stars but this mascara has become just terrible. I’ve bought between 3-4 tubes of waterproof Great Lash per year since 1984. Three months ago my new mascara left black marks down my cheeks whenever my eyes watered. Nope. I thought it was my mistake and carefully bought a brand new tube, making sure it was waterproof and it was the same. By the time I’m home from work it looks like I’ve been crying all day. Nope again.
I’m not going to waste my money on a third tube, hoping they changed. I’m avoiding the L’Oreal/Mabelline family from now on. Such a shame.

      Great lash review

I was wondering if the great lash mascara formula has changed because the last atleast 4 months I’ve been struggling to wash it off I’m using more cleanser. It’s not the waterproof one I’ve made sure every time I’ve bought it. I’ve been using it for my whole life since I’ve starting using makeup. I don’t want to change as I’ve never used anything else but I’m just struggling and even then it’s not washing off completely. Please let me know what I can do or suggest another one I can purchase that’ll be easy to remove I don’t want to keep buying new ones and have the same problem.
      Thanks

This used to be my daily mascara for many years. It's a really good all-rounder, with a slightly wetter formula than some other products. I used to like that it came in brownish black, though that seems impossible to find these days. I think it stopped making me look for other mascaras. The wand is a smaller size and easier to use for those with smaller eyes than the large volumising brushes that seem to now predominate. It's still a great one to have in your handbag, but I think I've moved on slightly since trying many more mascaras in the past year or so. \n

A classic! This mascara is what the little black dress is to every girls wardrobe, a staple. In a world full of new trends and products, it never fails to deliver and has stood the test of time. It offers the right balance of volume, extension and pigment and has great staying power, but also very easy to remove. It is almost impossible to clump this mascara and it gives a beautiful natural look, but also enough "oomph" to make a difference. Super inexpensive and extremely effective, perfect for both top and bottom lashes- you can't go passed it!

      I AM BLUE WITH ANGER

I am beyond disappointed that I cannot find my Royal Blue Maybellne Mascara. I started wearing it when I was a teenager and it was the best mascara ever. The Royal Blue was supreme, was easier to apply for some reason, it defined my lashes like no other mascara. I want Royal Blue back please. If I find it anywhere I will buy all of them and I don't care how old they are. The black is not the same. The Royal Blue was one of a kind. Why would you discontinue such a wonderful product. Please, please, please, please bring it back.

I've been using this mascara for close to 20 years! It's a classic beauty staple that I'm never without.\n\nThe mascara coats the lashes nicely and can be built up/ layered for extra thickness/ and a little bit of length. It doesn't clump or smudge. It's not a lengthening mascara, so perfect for an everyday/natural look.\n\nThe waterproof version is also great for summer. I've worn it swimming/ snorkelling without any raccoon eyes (it's good for weddings and funerals too!).\n\nI love the pink and lime packaging too!\n
