COLOR SENSATIONAL ULTIMATTE SLIM LIPSTICK

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I don’t typically wear lipstick so, I was hesitant on trying this lipstick out at first. And contemplated on even wearing it. Boy! am I GLAD I DID!? I lightly applied the first layer and it went on smoothly and was very bright even with a lighter application. Eventually the lipstick dried and looked matte. I always thought Matt’s lipstick made your lips feel dry, but I was WAY wrong! My lips were moisturized and felt good all day. After drinking, eating, (some kisses) my lipstick stayed on all day long without ever having to reapply! I am very impressed! I am looking forward to purchasing this later on for myself and girlfriends!

The More Scarlet was the perfect shade for the holiday season, while the More Mauve is great for everyday wear. These have a gorgeous matte look but stay creamy. These did not torture my lips like liquid lipstick does. While it does transfer, I don't mind that..I am not bothered about needing to reapply lipstick. Frankly, I never understood why lipstick needed to stay on all day. This is comfortable to wear, is highly pigmented and wears beautifully. I would take this over any long-wearing matte lipstick.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m all for stacking and blending lip products and this one is perfect for doing so! I’ll usually apply a chapstick, lip color, and then gloss over top and this color is beautiful for it! I’m not someone to use super long lasting lipstick so whenever I do wear this product I swipe a little on and then rub my lips together to get a light coverage across my lips but it could definitely be opaque and bold if you wanted it to be. The applicator is a twist and the top of the product is flat which makes for easy application as well! I was pleasantly surprised with this product, it reminded me of my favorite mauve lip color from Too Faced’s “melted” lip color collection.

The lipstick adjuster is smooth without any “bumps” while turning and when the lipstick is back in place, it “locks” into position. The product glides on very smoothly, and the color is a long lasting matte stain. I only had to use one coat to get the color to show up on my lips. The only issue I had is the lip stick is drying to my lips. Feels very light on my lips when first applied and not cakey. I recommend putting a lip primer or lip moisturizer on before wearing a coat of this. I personally use a lip moisturizer first. Love this color, simple enough for everyday use.

I found that they were easy to remove and didn’t stain and they also didn’t have a smell which I really appreciate. They’re also thin enough to fit in your pocket or small wristlet so you can take them with you for quick touch ups! The only thing I’d like to see improved upon is that the red does bleed a bit, but I’d definitely still wear it.

It was not patchy or drying to my lips. I have a darker pink tone to my lips to begin with so using a more natural tone was perfect! I did wear this out shopping for a few hours and there was some transfer onto my mask but that’s with most lipsticks. My lips were slightly chapped but it did not cling onto those dry patches and looked very natural. Highly recommend if you’re looking to get into lipstick but do not want to start out with bright colors.

It's fairy opaque and pigmented, without looking bright and unnatural. It wasn't too drying like other matte lipsticks, but still might not hurt to prep lips with lip balm beforhand. It stayed on well but did not last hours, but I don't think it's suppose to be waterproof. The fact that it can be wiped off easily is what makes it more hydrating than super dry on the lips, so I prefer that. I like that it can be wiped off without having to use makeup remover. And I like that it's not super dry and crusty on the lips. The price is good too. It has no weird smell or taste.

I am not a huge red lipstick fan, but both of these were very nice. They have a kind of vanilla smell and a soft velvet texture. It is not overly dry, but not wet. It goes on smooth, but does transfer pretty badly. The mauve is a nice berry/mauve color and the Scarlett is a red with strong pink undertones. They do rub off after a while even without eating or drinking, but it you do drink something, expect your cup to show the evidence that your lipstick was there!
