When Claire sung the national anthem on live TV, she knew just what makeup would keep her cool under pressure, while still looking hawt. Want a no-fuss makeup look you can trust 100%? Try it yourself for SURE.
You know those pre-party nerves you get when you’ve got a Big Event? Imagine when that Big Event is singing in front of a giant crowd AND a live TV audience from the Sydney Cricket Ground! Well, it’s just another day in the life of our very own songstress, Claire Howell.
Claire knew that a long-wear, totally sweat-proof look was a non-negotiable. Not only was she performing in the blazing sunshine, the lights, camera action would’ve added to the pressure too. For eyes, Claire went for a smoked-out winged liner. If you’re all about the understated cool too, here’s how she did it:
Eyeshadow that doesn’t budge starts with a good base. Claire applies Instant Age Rewind Concealer on her lids and blends with her fingies. For her shadow, she brushes some of her all-time fave, Master Chrome, to the inner corner, then blends City Bronzer into the crease. Claire’s sneaky trick for a soft, smoky liner is applying the dark brown shade from the Blushed Nudes palette using a paper towel. This cleanly extends her lash line for a soft smoky look. A quick wiggle of Falsies mascara through her lashes and her eyes are all set for the show.
When a girl’s on live TV, her skin’s gotta have a good glow. Claire preps with Master Prime illuminating primer. Next, she applies her SuperStay Foundation Stick using the handy sponge. And she’s, quote, ‘super fricken impressed’. She gives under-eye circles the boot with Instant Age Rewind concealer, then sets everything in place with Shine Free Loose Powder.
Foundation done, Claire goes in with her bronzer for a sunkissed look. She sweeps Fit Me Blush onto her cheeks for a warm, rosy glow. SuperStay Matte Ink in Loyalist is the final touch for a perfect anthem-proof pout.
