Lash Sensational® Luscious Washable Mascara

This mascara genuinely is my holy grail, i love it so much- paired with sky high is absolutely gorgeous, and the mascara lasts so long on your lashes. I wore this on a 7 hour flight and it DID NOT SMUDGE. love love love this mascara

sorry, already made a review but wanted to add that i got this mascara in France in the summer for so so so cheap and it is only running a bit low now after a good hundred uses or something. I genuinely don't know what I'd do without this mascara as someone with very short lashes who is very insecure without mascara because it literally makes me look like i have lash extensions on !

I bought this when it first came out. I was so excited to try it. I would have given this the full 5 stars; however, I experienced that it was hard to remove, took a long time to dry, and is not buildable. After a few tries, I was able to work with it and achieve that luscious lash effect, but it does take a while. I love the overall finished look it gives my eyes, very dramatic without looking like Tammy Faye Baker. It does clump if you attempt to layer coats and don't give it ample time to dry. Not for someone looking for a quick routine. Have a lash comb handy to avoid clumps, very important to remember!

I also love that it doesn't clump like some other mascaras I have tried in the past! One main concern that I don't like is the fact that it's not really water proof so if you're wearing it out for dancing or anything that includes sweating or swimming it's probably not the best choice but if you're just going out to enjoy a night on the town something subtle like dinner then I'd say definitely go for it! This is the best value for money mascara I've tried. This does everything. It lengthens, volumizes and just makes my eyes pop! The colour is super black and the formula feels very wet when applied but it sure adds drama to my little lashes. The combs on the brush reach all the lashes, even the tiny corner ones and adds length and volume. It doesn't flake and stays put for hours. I consider myself a bit of a mascara aficionado and i've tried high end and pharmacy brand and this sits right up there in my top 5.\nThe only con i can find with it is it takes a little effort to remove (even with makeup remover/wipes) and takes a little time to dry but other than that this mascara is perfection.\n

This mascara has a wand that has different lengths and curled, making it super easy to get to the root of the lash and get a good base, with the long bristles it makes it easy to separate each lash, making my lashes look super fanned out and curled. I'm so amazed with the product I bought two backups immediately. This isn't really a voluminous mascara, so I put on two coats of primer before I use this, but after two coats of this, I'm good. Makes my lashes look super awesome! I don't mind the clumpy formula, the clumps do flake off! It is really quick to dry, so I try to layer it up fast. The only reason why it isn't four stars is because of that. But I love it after a month in of using it!

I received this mascara free with a magazine that I brought and boy, did I score! This mascara is excellent. It doesn’t clump, run or get flaky. It stays on all day and keeps a curl. When I first opened it, I thought the brush looked alot like a drill bit, but it did the job well even though I was in a rush when applying it. The only slight negative that I could say about this mascara is because of the staying power, it took me two goes with a foaming cleanser to get it off. I had to double check that it wasn’t a waterproof one that I had, but it wasn’t. I would recommend this mascara to someone that wants their mascara to stay put all day, maybe someone that finds that their mascara transfers a lot.

I absolutely adore this mascara!!! I got it a couple years ago for Christmas and I have not used another mascara since! I wear it to the beach all the time and it lasts all day even going in the water (it does smudge a bit but u can just rub it off with your finger)
Last week omw to work I had a road accident, and cried for about 15 mins while driving. I was scared id look a mess, but to my surprise, my mascara hadn't smudged at all!!
The only thing I'd say is that you need to find a good, consistent way of removing it as it can be a bit tricky.

I bought this mascara ensuring I selected the “Washable” this product is not in any way washable. I have used the washable in the Volum Expresso and the Define a lash for years and them very good

This mascara helped my lashes out a lot and my lashes need help. This mascara provided a lot of volume and helped hold the curl in my lashes after I curled them. After it was applied and it dried, I didn't have to worry about this mascara disappearing off my lashes of transferring on my eyelid or below my eyes. The only issue I had was that this mascara is so good at sticking to my lashes that I have a hard time cleaning this mascara off. I find myself not reaching for this unless I have something important to go to and need my mascara to last because it is so hard to get it off. It is a good mascara and is priced decently. I have and would recommend this product to someone especially if they have lashes like mine.

I must clarify: I have a love/hate relationship with this mascara. No other mascara makes my thin short lashes look this good. The brush is excellent, and separates perfectly. It stays on. But that's the problem, ironically. I can't get it off! I use micellar water for waterproof eye makeup, even though I'm using the 'washable" version. Ive tried oil-based eye makeup remover, and that works a little better, but I have to rub. I lose lashes. SO, that's the problem. I try this one every so often, hoping they change the formula to correct this, but no luck.

I have tried so many different mascaras. This one, by far, is the best out there. I don't typically write reviews, but I felt that this one warranted one. Upon the first application, I noticed a big difference in how it made my lashes look. There was more volume and my lashes appeared longer. The best part is there was no clumping. It's the first time I've actually gotten compliments on my lashes. My co-workers all wanted to know if my lashes were real and if so, what kind of mascara was I using. I will definitely be stocking up on more of this.

Maybelline always comes up with gud mascaras! I personally love their collection can be compared to any high end mascaras! They give an instant lift to your lashes. It perfectly curls ur lashes and gives them a new life. I personally don’t prefer wearing falsies as they give me so much of anxiety. Am never comfortable with them. But this one just makes me ditch falsies and doesn’t even clump smudge. My personal opinion is to not use any mascara for more than 4-5 months! I have always used Maybelline mascaras, maybe because mascara is something you start with at a very young age. So, this mascara is definitely something that you will reach for when using your everyday makeup, its has a good amount of product and does not dry in the tube. It good to apply and does not smear easily and when used with a curler it definitely does add volume to your lashes. My lashes are good so I found this to be a good purchase. The only issue is it does not come off easily and I use oil to take it off completely.

I absolutely love the Lash Sensational Mascara that is NOT waterproof, it gives me both length, volume, and curl. My eyes are very small so false lashes are not an option, ya girl has to work with what she has. This formula is ok, it is FOR SURE waterproof. Like if you want to swim with mascara, by all means choose this. It doesn't separate my lashes as well as the non-waterproof version. I feel like even with oil my lashes fall out because I am scrubbing them so hard to get this off, but it ultimately ends up under my eyes.

I wish I read the reviews on this product before I bought it. I see fellow consumers are complaining about the same thing that I am experiencing. This mascara is awful, it is super clumpy. I am not sure if it is the mascara itself/the brush used to apply it that makes it so clumpy. When applied eyelashes stick together in clumps leaving large gaps between eyelashes. It is difficult to get off and leaves residue. As a result of the clumps some of my own eyelashes came out. If I could return this product I would.

After my use of many brands and tired a lot and did not find what pleases me. So I got this, I don't know how to tell, but it's really more than fantastic, you don't believe how happy I am. Because this mascara is my favorite and the only one I liked. Believe me I'm saying about the experience, they make eyelashes longer as they are not difficult to clear during makeup removal. Unlike the other brands that were really tired to wiped them from my eyes. Take it and you will not regret it believe me

It has a creamy formula, not too runny and not too dry. It does not flake, smudge or irritate my eyes .i only do one coat ad its enough for me. and. its. easy to take. off

I have always used maybelline mascara and never had any issues....this one however is by far the worst mascara I have ever used! Yes it makes your lashes look fuller, thicker and really stand out but my gosh it is a nightmare to remove at the end of your day! It clumps up and twice in 1 week I have had a very irritated and swollen eye from the mascara getting caught in my eyelid by trying to remove it correctly! My advice ladies (and gents) do not purchase this mascara for your own sanity!!!

My go to mascara is Falsies flared (purple tube with silver writing) but I couldn’t find to so I thought this kind would be a suitable alternative. I’ve been using it for a week and it’s been the worst. It clumps my lashes towards the end of my eye and the brush shape makes it really hard to get mascara on the base of my outer lashes. Also, it’s hard to get mascara on the inner lashes because the brush gets thicker towards the base so as you apply to your inner lashes it is putting more mascara on your middle lashes.
Throughout the day, it smudges under my eyebrows and below my eyes. It is also very hard to get off. I’m using the same products I would use to remove my old Maybelline mascara and it doesn’t get the mascara off at all. I’m not sure why this mascara is so bad but please don’t buy it.

I got this mascara recently because it had good reviews on google. After using it I was really disappointed for a few reasons. I am lucky to have naturally long lashes, so mascara definitely adds a lot of “wow” to my look. This mascara, however, makes me look like a clown. The formula clumps 5-8 lashes together to give me a spidery eye look. Even using my fingers I can’t separate them! Even worse, it doesn’t come off at all. So I accepted this and gave it a fair shot by trying it a few times. Just today in the shower a big clump of lashes came out. Maybe this product works well for some people, but it just doesn’t work for me. I need something that will coat each lash individually rather than clump them together to give the illusion of volume. The picture is DAY 3 of unsuccessfully removing the mascara.

It stays on, which is great. It builds the lashes and makes them look long and full, which is also great. Whats NOT great is that this is a very liquid formula and it smears like crazy if you dont wipe off the applicator in the tube and apply gently. What also isnt great is that I use a micelles water designed to remove waterproof mascara and its still not removing it so I resort to using coconut oil to remove it. Ill try the washable kind. But waterproof isnt worth it.

I am a Maybelline mascara user from decades ago! I've tried many different colors, and was so glad to see that the blue mascara is back. However, I recently purchased a blackest black great lash. And I hate the fanning brush! I feel like I am going to poke myself in the eye. I don't like the fat part of the brush. I liked the brush being the same width from the tip to the bottom. If I can't get the hang of using this brush...I will need to seek another company...

I was very excited to try this mascara because I'd seen and heard great things about it and it sounded like it was suppose to do everything I wanted, however, this was not the case. The mascara was hard to apply as the applicator is super tricky to work without turning your lashes into a clumpy mess and was a lot of work to make it look like the full fan effect as it has advertised. The only good thing about it is it holds its curl well and is long lasting.

This is the best mascara I've EVER used. I prefer waterproof formulas because they hold a curl very well and seldom require reapplication throughout the day, but I've tried this both in waterproof and regular, and I adore them both. What I love most about this is that it isn't clumpy, and that it really does fan out lashes like it says it will. It's buildable, and it provides very good length. I will say that ideally, to make lashes look as full as possible, it should be used in conjunction with a volumizing mascara because it's fine on its own, but if there's one characteristic with which it doesn't excel, it's volume. Mascara is the product that I'm the pickiest about, and honestly I can say that I'm going to continue repurchasing this until they don't sell it anymore. I'm on my fourth tube as of now and I love it all the same.

Use this everyday love it, I must say I am quite a crybaby oops sorry I cant control it lol so I need one that doesn’t put dark lines down my face when I cry and this one is great as long as you can wipe your tears and get over it quick no stains will be left on your face and it’s so easy to get off your lashes and if it does Stain your face Bec you didn’t wipe it off just grab your damp beauty blender and swipe it off and it’s gone totally reccomend

I am a huge fan of Maybelline and their products, specifically their mascara, but unfortunately I do not recommend this mascara at all. It is very clumpy even with the serum, and it leaves a gooey residue on the lashes even after makeup remover and showers. This product tends to clump the lashes into one big group and it transfers very easily :( although the color is very pigmented and more long lasting than other, the cons outweigh the pros for me.

I always use Maybelline products and love the Volume Express Colossal mascara. I recently tried out the Lash Sensational and my eyelids burn and my eyes get irritated to where even when I wash it off my eyes lids still burn through out the night. I’ve tried it a couple times thinking it was my contacts but ruled that out when I switched to glasses and my eyelids were still on fire. This is the only mascara I have ever thrown away after a few uses.

This mascara is great. It is a great option for a drug store mascara. It is super inexpensive and I feel like it performs like some of the more expensive mascaras out there. I would definitely purchase this mascara again and I have and will recommend it to others. I like that it is not clumpy and does not shed like you would expect of some drug store mascaras. I also like the packaging, it is cute, and it provides a lot of product.

I love this mascara! I have been using it since I started wearing makeup as a teen. I've tried the more expensive department store mascaras, but none of them compare to Maybelline. I used to use the straight brush, but I find I like the curved brush better because it helps to curl my lashes while applying it. I have naturally long lashes and this Maybelline mascara really enhances them, making them look three times longer and fuller

This version is horrendous. The brush doesn't make sense, way too much mascara comes onto the brush when you pull it out, and all it did was clump my eyelashes together with the wet product. I had to take an old brush i had from Rocket Volum to even it out. I will never buy this one again. I have been using Maybelline mascara for as long as I can remember. It's always been my favorite. But this specific one, I will never buy again.
