It's decent. Unfortunately it is very hard to build up layers. If you can even manage to build up layers it results in the curl dropping. If you have short straight lashes you might like this as it does hold a curl when applied lightly. If you have long straight lashes like myself or want any drama you'll find it only okay at best. I also find due to the wand being bending and twisting when applying it can be tedious to apply.

For folks with medium length lashes; this truly does make your lashes look like falsies if you build it up. Its very lengthening, volumizing, and wont clump unless you do more than 2 coats. All though I bought the waterproof version, it smudges and flakes within an hour. Maybe its because I have oily eyelids. If this did not smudge and flake it would be my holy grail mascara. Thats why I am only giving it 4 stars.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Ok so I loved that I got this sample because I’ve been wanting to try it out, but didn’t wanna spend the money on it in case I didn’t like it. I’m kind of in between thoughts on this product because while it didn’t make my lashes look longer it also easily wiped off and smudged and gave me what looked to be black eyes. That being said I have to give it a middle middle rating. It wasn’t bad but it wasn’t good.

I bought the falsies line when they first came out a few years ago and I liked the spoon shaped brush and the fact that it came in waterproof. HOWEVER, when I bought another tube last week it came with the flexible wand thing. Because the wand is not stiff, it is impossible to get a decent amount of mascara on my eyelashes. They look the same thickness and length, just black now. I am disappointed.

I'm devastated! I've been using this brand for years, I always got amazing voluminous lashes, it went on so easily and looked great. I don't know what happened, but the last few tubes have dried out after a few uses, and even after several coats my lashes are so lackluster. I don't even know what to buy as an alternative, but I won't spend anymore money on this. WHY CHANGE IT IF IT WORKED GREAT!?

This is the second time I've tried this product. The first time was just ok. I didn't feel it was any better that what I had been using. I know it waterproof but should it come off with soap and water? I have washed my face with soap and water 3 times and there's still some mascara on my lashes. If I have to purchase an additional product just to remove it then it's really not worth it.

I have natural curly lashes that droop down and don’t lift up much when I apply mascara. But Maybelline definitely won me over with this mascara. Within two swipes my lashes lifted up and looked so full. It also doesn’t smudge too much or clump up either. This is honestly the best mascara I’ve tried so far.

I love this mascara because I really value length and the ability to stay curled all day is on point and it really good if you like you individual lashes to be separated it’s not big on clumps and it keeps my lashes curled with is also why I recommend using the waterproof kind because it’s a lot less heavy than regular this mascara is amazing I really recommend!!!😁

Purchased a new line product of mascara - Falsies Waterproof in Black Brown - I wish I wouldn't have spent the money and stuck with what I knew. It brought some color to my lashes but that was it. It didn't lengthen, make them fuller or look thicker at all. It was like I had barely used any product and it wasn't what Im use to expecting. Im sadly disappointed.

I am blown away by the quality of this product and have been using it for date nights to elevate my look. It washes off easily but doesn’t smear in humid southern US heat. My new favorite mascara!

This has separated my lashes well. My lashes are short and these definitely added length. I apply one coat, leave one minute and apply a second coat with brush zig zagging on lashes for 5 seconds and I get the best length!

I've been purchasing this item for a few years and have loved it; the mascara really makes my sparse, skimpy lashes look so much fuller. Today I opened up a new mascara and noticed that the brush has been changed. The brush is much smaller and felt flimsy, it was difficult to put the mascara on. Please consider changing back to the old brush.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Okay, so I wear lash clusters, natural look, and when I tell you that The Falsies mascara can do basically the same thing!!!! Just brush it on a few times for a darker more dramatic look or keep it clean and simple with just a a brush or two. I promise, it's quick, lightweight and simple. I recommend, especially for a quick lash boost!

The brush is HUGE but the mascara worked well with my lashes and gave great volume. I have some kind of hybrid between Asian and Caucasian eyes and my lashes are heavy. They don't typically hold a curl well but did well with light coats of this mascara

What happened with this mascara? Have you changed the formula? I’ve been buying this for years. The last three tubes I bought are horrible. Mascara looks terrible after a few hours. Clumps up quite a bit. Have to put a few layers on to make it stick to your lashes. Don’t ruin a good product. Bring the old formula back!

Doesn't last long enough, it used to, now less than 30 days. I have been using this product for "years". I am disappointed in the quality in the last year. Seems to thicken or start clumping around 20 days and I try to make it last as long as I can. Please go back to original formula as it lasted longer. Thanks.

OMG!!! I love this mascara so much!! It’s really cheap and has an amazing applicator that makes it easy to apply. It also doesn’t irritate my eyes, even though I poked my eye a few times. It makes my eyelashes very voluminous and long without clumps and I love it!! It’s kinda hard to get off though.

The best mascara I have ever come across in fifty years!!!!! It's also the best waterproof mascara out there!!! When you want to wash it off it comes off very easy and if you use the make up remover clothes it's like taking off butter! My girl friend asked me if I had falsely on ! Unreal product!

I absolutely love this mascara. Just a few coat of this for my extremely thin and short lashes and it will look great! I rely on this mascara a lot on days I'm in a rush and don't have much time to do a completed eyemake up look. Just with this mascara and some eyeliner and I'm good to go.

Since I needed new mascara & I had a coupon, I tried Falsies. I really loved the way my eyes looked. My lashes were long, full, curled & not clumpy. They actually looked fake. I would've given 5 stars, but I couldn't clean the mascara off completely with my makeup remover towelettes.

This mascara makes me look like I have 4 lashes on each eye. I do not have the thickest nor the longest lashes, so I really thought that this mascara would work, I was wrong. I went back to the store and bought my tried and true ELF $1 lengthening mascara, I was happy once again.

I have been using this mascara for almost 2 now and would switch up sometimes to try other ones but nothing compares to this..i get so many compliments on my eyes and people even ask if my lashes are real..i love it and will always use this..i recommend it to everyone!!

Best mascara since Cover Girl Marathon. I am ride and show horses and this is the first mascara I have found since Marathon was taken off the market that will hold up to all day competition in the sun without raccoon eyes! Mega Plush is great too.

I have tried many waterproof mascaras...MANY! Both high and low end, but they have always ended up as duds. Not this one!! Not only is it seriously waterproof, it separates my lashes perfectly, lengthens them, volumizes, and holds a curl! Buy it now!
