COLOR SENSATIONAL® Made for All Lip Color

I tried Maybelline New York Colour Sensational lipstick in Red For Me Matte and Plum For Me. \n\nI don’t usually like wearing red lipstick but I really liked this shade and was pleasantly surprised by how much it suited my skin tone. \n\nI found Plum For Me a bit darker than I would prefer but it would be ok for night time use. \n\nThis lipstick is really creamy and soft and gives a smooth appearance with just one coat. I found it lasted really well but transferred onto glasses and cups and did not last well through a meal. \n\nThe creamy consistency made the lipstick easy to apply and it made my lips feel soft without drying. \n

Having tried the shades Plum For Me (388) and Ruby for Me (385), I can tell that this whole range of lipsticks are of pretty good quality. The finish of the lipstick is satin, not too matte and drying and not shimmery either, which is lovely for a fresher, plumper look. The colours were extremely bold and opaque which I was impressed by, and I enjoyed the Ruby shade which looked like a true red against my ivory skin, but wasnt a fan of the fuschia undertones in the Plum shade. These were not transfer-proof at all either and came off extremely easy over everything which was a downside. Overall a pretty good lipstick for on the go.

Its whats on the inside that counts right? The packing of the lipstick is really plain and not eye catching but the product itself is so soft and creamy. The formula is so nice and smooth on the lips and not drying. I have the Red for me and Pink for me shades and both look great on with my skin tone. The pink is so easy to wear for everyday but i do recommend a liner with the red shade. Both dont bleed but i feel its easier to apply the Red with a liner. The wear time might not be as long as some other lipsticks but considering how comfortable this lipstick is to wear and how easy it is to reapply that doesn't bother me at all.

I want a true red the looks great on my skin. I received the color 382 Red for Me and I absolutely love the color it is my true red so the test was to try it and see if I liked the way it wore which I absolutely did. It is phenomenal! The color is opaque and it applied smoothly, it felt nourishing to my lips and wore for a long time! I had to reapply after eating but you always have to do that with any lipstick! I definitely recommend this lipstick by maybelline. I received these product complimentary to be reviewed.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a color I didn’t think I would go for, but surprisingly looks good. The Made For All really is true. I have a fair skin and green/hazel eyes that make finding a lip color difficult, but the Red-For-All is a stunner. It goes on pretty well, though I have a hard time getting my top lip to look even and reaching the corners of my mouth. However, some of this is due to my experience/lack of expertise. This isn’t color I would wear everyday, but one of the subtler pinks or browns I might go for on a more daily basis. It can be difficult to remove fully, but it is a brighter, bolder color. It does last for a few hours, but I haven’t worn it for an entire day.

Personally, I think red is definitely my color so I couldn’t imagine a shade of it that wouldn’t suit me.... but I do feel this shade would be flattering on a variety of different skin tones. I would have preferred a nude shade to see if these lipsticks really are made for all because I have a really hard time finding a good nude.... but aside from that, the actual product was great. I wore it for Christmas and it survived all the food I stuffed in my face and still looked great. My only complaint is that it’s more of a satin finish than matte... but I didn’t really mind

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Red for Me (no. 382) is a beautiful, deeply pigmented blue-red lipstick in a matte finish. It goes on smoothly and feels creamy, not drying like many matte lipsticks. I would not call it long-lasting as it does come off when eating or drinking. It will require reapplication, though lining my lips wasn’t necessary, so it doesn’t seem to bleed. I probably wouldn’t wear such a dark color in a lipstick that smears and requires reapplying because I like to put it on and forget about it. However, the color is beautiful and very flattering for my skin tone (fair with yellow undertones). If you don’t mind reapply and like true red, matte lipstick. I would give this a try.

These are phenomenal for so many reasons. The colors are spot on, and they actually do look good on everyone. The formula is creamy, smooth, and non-drying... even the matte red! I would love it if there was a coral and a burgundy shade, as those are the other two shades I wear frequently. The pink and mauve shades are beautiful nudes. The plum is perfect cranberry winter color. Spice is an amazing warm toned fall brownish-reddish-orange shade. Ruby and red are amazing red tones for either a cool (red) or warm (ruby) look. The fuchsia is the perfect pop of bright pink, but not too bright. Overall these are perfect! Brb... about to go toss every other lipstick I have for these.

This product was so good! I’m usually a bit of a makeup snob but the two shades I received to trial of this lipstick were amazing! I will definitely be buying these in future! The colours both looked good (though one not amazing) on my skin tone. I especially loved the formula. Coming into winter my lips are starting to dry. But the formula of this lipstick left them feeling hydrated and it lasted all day! For a non matte formula this was unexpected but very welcome. As far as value for money, this product is a standout. There is nothing I can fault about this product, other than the packaging looking a lot less high end but, when it wears like it does, does it really matter? No!

I was gifted this product to trial. I receive the shades ruby for me and plum for me. I have very pale, cool toned skin and am pretty cautious to what lipsticks I wear as alot can wash me out and give me an off complexion. I was pretty happy with how these shades suited my skin and especially with the plum one as I hadn't yet found a colour like that which suited me. It lasts pretty well throughout the day but I do notice then it was all over my water bottle and I would get it on things if I wasn't careful I dont think I would wear this colour out at night as I feel I would be too worried about it transferring onto everything. They suited my skin tone well and give decent colour payoff.

What kind of witch craft is this?? Literally I have always had issues finding foundation/lipstick shades for years. Always too bright or garish, but not these! I have a light medium olive complexion that leans slightly warm. Most colors unless muted or soft just look clown like. Maybelline really does have it all. Mauve for me, spice for me, and pink for me are all my new holy grail shades. I will be returning for touch of spice (different formula) as well. The struggle is real but these are amazing! My mom and sister have completely different undertones but even these look great on all of us.

These lipsticks are highly pigmented so one swipe goes along way. The fuschia shade looks great on (my skin tone is medium with blonde hair), it’s perfect to smarten up your work look or for a night out. The lipstick feels smooth on and the colour lasts most of the day, however I think a lip liner or applying with a lip brush would prevent bleeding around the edges.\nThe mauve shade is a lot darker on than I expected, I don’t think it suited my complexion and my teeth looked not as white as usual.\nOverall the lipsticks are ok, but they don’t stand out from any other lipstick on the market.\n

I wanna start by saying I'm strictly a liquid lipstick kinda girl, I find traditional bullet lipsticks to typically require too many touch ups throughout the day. However, this lipstick has completely changed the game for me. It is extremely long lasting. It isn't totally transfer proof, but it does gradually wear off as the day goes on. With that being said, I drink coffee all day long and even that doesn't cause this lipstick to completely come off like so many others. I'm in love, and would totally purchase again!

It wears just like it looks in the lipstick tube (I think products often look different on the person, but this wears really just the same as it looks in the tube). It doesn't dry out my lips like most matte lipsticks do. You have to be careful with application, though, as having even a little extra near the corners of the mouth leaves a red smudge easily. I received this lipstick complimentary to test, but I'll continue to wear it for special nights out. I don't typically wear bright lipstick shades (I prefer neutrals), but this is a very trendy yet classic shade that will be nice for special nights out. Others with bolder makeup preferences could wear it daily.

The colours I received were Red and Mauve for me.\nAlthough these colours do not usually match my pink skin tone, I was more than surprised to see that both colours looked quite flattering on me. \n\nI absolutely love the smooth application, almost like silk finish on both even with the matte finish on one.\nBoth lipsticks stayed on my lips for max 5- 6 hours, easily a full night for both. \nI did notice that it does seem to come off onto things very easily. I noticed that the colours sent to me are true to the colour chart (which can be hard to come by). \nI would absolutely love to try the nude colours, so I would spend money on this product for sure. Glad I got the opportunity to trial!!!\n

I tried the Maybelline New York Colour Sensational in the shade Ruby For Me and Plum For Me. Both of these shades are beautiful and highly pigmented. The lipstick felt like satin and applied so smoothly. It didn't take too long for it dry on the lips but once it did, it felt so lightweight that I actually forgot that I was wearing anything! I did notice that there was a bit of transfer but it was so little that it doesn't bother me much at all.\nIt lasted for the majority of the day and I was able to remove it effortlessly with micellar water.\nI would definitely recommend these lipsticks to everyone as they are such classics to have in your collection, especially with it being so affordable.\n

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I haven’t used a “regular” lipstick in almost 3 years because I am a liquid lipstick and lipgloss kinda woman but I was actually pleasantly pleased. Off the bat the color is beautiful, I was never a “red” person, it was my grandmother’s favorite color and I didn’t appreciate the color unfortunately until after she passed, it’s so beautiful. The constancy is so creamy and not stiff at all. It does glide on smoothly. I think that is the only complaint that it may be just a little too creamy because I did notice it started to bend as I was applying. Otherwise I absolutely love this lipstick.

Im usually a neutral/natural lipstick kind of girl, so when I had the chance to test out this lipstick for free for my honest opinion I decided to go for it and be a little daring. I received the Ruby For Me shade which is similar to a bright red. It was different, sexy and made my lips pop! The positive side is that its made to look good on any skin type, but its just like a normal lipstick which eventually wears away when you eat or drink. I definitely would recommend any of the shades in the Made For All campaign for women who are not sure if a color would work for their skin tone. The idea behind this concept is that you cant go wrong with which ever pink, purple, or red shade that you choose.

I am not usually one for red lipsticks, but Im willing to give it a shot if its a quality shade. Now, my tube came in a little messed up which made the first few applications not great, but after fixing it, I was able to use it! Its a good shade, it still felt kind of awkward to wear because it IS so bright, but it matched my outfits well! It also stayed on long- all night through food and drink! I think Id prefer a neutral reddidh shade, but in regards to quality, its great!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This lipstick was ok. The formula is great!! Even though it’s matte it’s very creamy and doesn’t dry your lips out. I did have to reapply throughout the day. The biggest issue I had with this lipstick is that the color was just not for me. I’m not a red lipstick kind of girl, but when I do wear red lipstick I like it to have a blue undertone. This shade is more on the orange side and it doesn’t go well with my deeper complexion. I feel like this kind of color would look great on medium to tan skin tones. I would to try this lipstick in another shade because I really like this formula.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love wearing red lipstick either completely full on or more blotted/stained, so I usually go for lip tints instead of bullet lipsticks. This lipstick was very smooth and pigmented with just one swipe, but when worn over lip balm, it smudged over my lip line. While some did transfer when I drank tea, it was otherwise long-lasting and not drying. The finish more of a demi-matte, which is pretty. The true red shade was nice on my complexion and I like the sleek matte red packaging.

However, the smell of this lipstick is so strong it gives me a headache! I wish it didn’t have a scent.

I got the colours Mauve for me and  Fuchsia for me, i loved the finish of the lipsticks kind of a hybrid satin gloss that is very moisturising.  I think they both complemented my fair but freckled skin tone blue eyes and light hair.  I would not wear the fuchsia everyday as its very bright but its very beautiful and pigmented.  The Mauve is far more wearable for daily use and found it very complimentary for my skin tone etc.\nThere is a scent to the lipsticks but you cannot smell it once on the lips.  The pigment is excellent almost one swipe for both shades for full opacity.  It feels great not too heavy and doesn't bleed and I did not use lip liners.  I definitely would recommend this lipstick range.\n

I  really liked these lipsticks. I found the colours very complementing, the glided on nicely and didn't feel sticky or dry while on. I tried the Mauve and Red and while I normally find red doesn't suit me well, I liked the look of this one. The Mauve had a very slight shine to it and the Red was a matte finish. The only think I didn't like about these is that they are not designed as a long stay lipstick. The colour did transfer easily and reapplying is necessary if you are eating or drinking. Overall though I found them to be a nice lipstick and the price point is great. 

These lipsticks are pretty nice and I’m a pretty fussy lipstick wearer. I tried mauve for me and red for me - both suited my pale complexion especially the red which was a true vivid red. \nThe lipstick feels smooth on the lips but it does leave a somewhat waxy coating to the lips. The colour lasted for a good 4 hours but definitely had to be retouched after meals. I would probably suggest a lip liner though for extra longevity of the colour.\n\nOverall the lipsticks were nice to try and I did enjoy the colours. I would say they are a very good starter lipstick but they didn’t wow me so much that I would rush out to buy the remaining 4 shades especially over some other maybelline formulas that are longer lasting. \n

I received ruby for me and pink for me. I really liked the texture, as advertised it is super creamy. My lips are usually very dry however it glided on nicely. I really liked the ruby for me more than the pink for me as I don’t usually wear pinks. Pink for me didn’t complement my pale skin tone as much as the ruby for me lipstick. The lipsticks aren’t very long lasting however, the colours faded away nicely throughout the day and looked like a lip stain. Overall, I like the packaging and texture but I would not purchase it as I didn’t find any wow factor about it.\n\n

I have pretty mixed feelings about these. I got the shades Plum for Me and Red for Me. \nPros: LOVED the colours. They lasted well, even through light to moderately messy meals. They were very easy to reapply.\nCons: The initial colour pay off is... underwhelming; I had to apply about 2-3 layers to get a full intensity of shade. I'd actually love this, except a single swipe of colour is very patchy, and can't be worn as a thin layer. I didn't love the more matte finish of Red for Me, and both wore a little dry after about 2-3 hours. \nOverall Thoughts: I like these. I'd like to try the other colours, BUT I don't know that I'll go out and buy more. I just wasn't blown away enough by them, especially given the price. \n

I LOVE these lipsticks! My skin tone falls into the very neutral  category of not being cool or warm toned so it can be difficult to find colours that complement my face. I tried both Fuchsia For Me & Red For Me (Matte) and surprisingly both these colours whilst having completely different tones, both looked amazing on me! The formulas were highly pigmented, easy to use, and lasted for most the day. Whilst the colours are very bright & not something I would wear on an everyday basis, they are great for a night out or a way to spice up your look for an event!

This lipstick is so creamy. I loved how smoothly it glides on and the consistency feels moisturising rather than cakey or drying. It doesn’t bleed which is great, especially for such bright shades. I find it important that lipsticks add moisture, especially in winter. \nHowever - this transfers everywhere!!!! I’m not usually one for bright shades, but when I do opt for the big pop of colour I want it to be long lasting and not smudge. I felt self-conscious seeing all the colour transfer onto anything I touched. It is better than others I have tried, but still pretty messy. At least when it all comes off on everything, it leaves a gorgeous colour stained on my lips! Maybe this is better as a lip stain than a lip stick! \n

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Made-For-All lipsticks by Maybelline truly has colors that are flattering for everyone. I tried the Red-For-All shade and it wowed me. At first look, it seemed too orange red but after putting it on, it was just right.

It's long lasting, matte and not drying on the lips. Perfect for a night out or for a festive holiday party. The color stays on pretty well and leaves a tint on your lips even after a couple layers of color transfer. After a full meal, I did have to reapply. The formula is comfortable to wear though. It's not sticky. Comes in a good size too.

I wore the lipstick to the family Christmas party, and my cousin’s baby brushed his hand on my lips... I had to chase him down to make sure he didn’t create any bright red finger paintings on the walls! Aside from that, the product applies like a dream, the color is even more vibrant on than it is in the tube, and it is so comfortable to wear! It is also easily removable at the end of the night. I got so many compliments on the color as well! I may just have to try the other shades...
