I usually don't like using drugstore mascara because they tend to make my eyes burn, but this mascara did not! Not only that, it doesn't smear or smudge onto the bottom of my eyes! WOW! If you're looking for a mascara that lengthens while creating volume, this is the mascara for you! I usually use DiorShow only, but the Colossal Big Shot is making me reconsider. This will be great for my wallet too! I love the big brush, too! It really gets every little lash.

I curled my eyelashes twice, maybe three times then I continued to put on the mascara. At first I didn't like the wand itself because i thought the brush was a bit too big for my eyes. But to my surprise, the brush applied the formula well on my eyelashes. The formula wasn't thick or gooey that would cluster in my eyelashes.l I'm actually a bit surprised about the quality of the mascara, and I've had a good amount of different brands.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was really excited when I tried this product! Finally I found a drug store mascara that accomplishes everything I'm looking for. The mascara comes packaged in a beautiful gold tube with a thick handle that makes application seamless. The mascara applies nicely and volume is acheived after two coats (usually I need to apply 3-4). I was really impressed with the final look of the mascara. The only thing I wasn't happy with was how long it lasted. By the end of the night my lashes were a little lack luster and I needed to reapply. Overall a fabulous product! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am really happy to have been one of the first to try the new The Big Shot Volum'Express #BigShotMascara surprised me by its beautiful packaging that was love at first sight congratulations for that creation, additional to that the formula is very light not Weighs nothing in the eyelashes and that is a great requirement to buy it. Good price, excellent product and talking about make-up remover, calm stays in your face for a long time, but when removing it will be very easy without mistreating any of your eyelashes.

It's always trial and error! But the Colossal BigShot Mascara is definitely a mascara I'd use again! The formula is a little wet so I may try to leave it open a couple hours so it gets a little tacky. I think that would help the process of building my lashes! I have long, full lashes but they are sooooo fine. I have to layer and layer. I don't feel like I use a ton and would suggest this mascara if you have the same type of lashes. It washes off well with coconut oil and your lashes don't feel hard after using.

I don't like shelling out big bucks for something that lasts a few months. This product is extremely affordable and does an amazing job. It leaves my lashes feeling thick without being clumpy. It even helps lengthen them without making it look fake. It doesn't even transfer onto my eyes or undereyes throughout the day, which is usually a big problem for me. My tried-and-true favorite is the classic Great Lash in Blackest Black and Clear. I recently started using The Colossal Big Shot and am very impressed by the formula. It glides on very easily and makes my stick-straight and sparse lashes noticeable, and, just like Great Lash, it doesn't clump or fall onto my face after a couple of hours like other brands I've tried.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm a pretty low-key girl when it comes to makeup--usually a little BB cream, a swipe of blush and some quick mascara. I have light features, including very light blonde eyelashes, so I need all the love I can get!

The bright gold packaging made me feel like I was using a super fancy product, even though this is very reasonably priced! I love the ease with which the mascara applies with the wand--great coverage with just one layer, although I commonly use two layers to get the thickness I want. I will certainly purchase this product again in the future!

I tried it on the very next day after it arrived and was stunned at how good it made my eyes and lashes look! But unfortunately, it would not come off for my life... I'm not a fan or waterproof mascara but I don't mind it; I have some wipes that get waterproof off! But this mascara was so stubborn. I used my wipes, washed with face soap and warm water and ended up having to also use baby oil... I loved the formula and the look, but I hate taking it off.. these are all my opinions and I received this product for free from influenster as a tester

It coated each individual lash, and gave volume without becoming chunky (but is buildable, so you can achieve that look if you want that). It didn't lengthen too much, which was great for me because I have naturally long lashes.

The thing is, I've use'd Maybelline's other Colossal Mascaras, and those are so similar! I wouldn't go out of my way to re-add this into my collection. There's no lingering smell that I've found with the other mascaras from this brand, so that was positive!

I love how the applicator brush aren't those hard plastic bristles but are super soft and flexible bristles. As soon as I do one coat of mascara my lashes are instantly thicker and longer! Usually one coat is enough, but I always do a second coat if I want a dramatic look like falsies give me. How awesome is that? A mascara that gives you the look of falsh lashes but without the hassle of actually wearing false lashes! This product is a must have in my makeup bag. It reflects personality && uniqueness. When I received this I was so excited to try it! I made a YouTube video on it (shameless self promo) nicole dixon - Lash Like A Boss. But anyways I think this would make an amazing mascara after the first coat of the original. I also received the maybelline master precise liquid liner && I'm not a huge fan of liquid liner it doesnt fit my make up or face but that's also in my video. I am an avid Urban Decay Perversion Mascara girl. This mascara, takes the "high" away from "high-end." I was iffy about it for the first week, but I will say that the more I use it, the more I love it. The brush is a hard bristle spoolie, which took some getting used to, but it pulls my lashes up to the ceiling. I love how the formula is a good mix of gel/liquid and it's easy to build up. I've worn this 24 entire hours more than once.... no flakes. No rub off, and doesn't Waring off through out the day. I will use this for forever now.

Gives nice length, lifts lashes and keeps them that way throughout the day, doesn't way them down even if they are really short. Also I love that is really nice deep black color which helps lashes stand out even more. Gives good volume and it is buildable. I would say two coats for more natural look, or 3 for more dramatic. The beautiful gold tube is made extremely well and the applicator brush is comb-like and vibrant. I have short lashes so I'm always hesitant of using bigger brushes on my lashes but this gave me no problems at all. I was able to coat all my lashes evenly from root to tip and they got some added length and separation that was really nice. The mascara formula is very smooth and not clumpy at all, and it's genuinely waterproof. I'm in love. I received this item complimentary for reviewing purposes, but this is all my honest opinion.

After opening the box, and the product, I was in awe of the fullness that the brush had. The consistency of the mascara itself was nice, it did not have an odor like some drugstore mascaras have.

To put it on, I: sweep the Big Shot brush from root to tip for dramatic volume and repeated these steps two to three times to build even bigger volume, as well as to add some needed length for my lashes. After application, I was very pleased with the volumed I had obtained almost instantly.

My eyelashes are already a bit long and curly but it definitely extended the length and made them look bolder. Though it does make it look bolder, it doesn't make it look fuller. Also, when applied it looks better on the top lashes rather than the bottom lashes. It's more difficult to apply on the bottom with this mascara for some reason.

I should say I prefer a more thick, dramatic lash and unfortunately, Colossal Big Shot did not deliver. I'm not sure if it was the formula or the brush itself, but it went on very thin. It reminded me of applying fibers from a popular competitor. I didn't feel it gave my lashes the volume and overall body it promised, or even the length really. The waterproof was nearly impossible to get off, which is good, I guess if waterproof mascara is what you are looking for!

What initially made me wary was when you pull the wand out of the tube, it looks like a lot. It just appears to be a big clumpy mess of mascara, however it did not apply that way. While it didn't go on clumpy, it did end up being very dry and flaky which i did not like. I also did not think it did much in regards to volume, but it did add length. Glad I tried it, but even more glad I didn't have to spend my own money to try it. I still love Maybelline, but I plan on just sticking to their skin makeup.

Maybelline has always been one of my favorite drugstore brands for mascaras and this one did not disappoint. It took a few coats to get my lashes exactly how I wanted them, but in the end I had long, voluminous lashes that NEVER crumbled off, even after twelve hours of wear. I must say the one negative about the product is that the mascara is VERY hard to remove - I had to use a cleansing oil, face wash, AND micellar water to get most of it off and I still had traces of it in the morning. I didn't know it was waterproof, though, and I am not a fan of waterproof formulas. Anyways, I tried it out and expected it to be about average, but I just didn't feel like it was. Maybe its the formula, maybe it's the brush, I don't know, but I wish it worked better for me. I will try it again in the future and hopefully it will help a little more. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the instant volume and thicker lashes I get when using the Big Shot Mascara. It takes only a swipe or two on each eye to get full, thick coverage that lasts for hours. I like that it looks thicker than it feels, so I don't have those hard, clumpy and uncomfortable lashes I sometimes get from other brands. I love the wide applicator brush because it helps get an even, overall application, but I do wish the tube itself were just a bit thinner. A litter smaller and it would fit into normal mascara slots/holders, but I will take it as is, if it means getting better coverage on my lashes.

When I first saw the product I was really excited and amazed by its look, I couldn't wait to try and see the amazing results it should give.
So, finally I was going to apply it but when I first opened it I noticed it was totally dry! I decided to ignore that and continue, my eyelashes did look longer but they didn't look as fuller as they should.
I'm definitely giving this product a second try but before, I'm going to add a few eye drops hope it works.
In conclusion, I love Maybelline but for me this isn't their best mascara at all.

When using this product my eyelashes are long, full, and voluminous and for the drugstore brand price- you cannot beat this product. I always love coming across drug store brand products that work just as well as the expensive brands.

If you follow the directions on the packaging, you achieve great volume and length(an added bonus). Definitely don't let it dry completely between coats, as it can get "spidery" quickly and need to be combed out. Keep a curl nicely and no flaking. It's a little difficult to remove, but does remove completely with a couple of passes with an eye makeup remover. It didn't get in my eyes when I removed it; didn't cloud my vision or gunk up in the corners of my eyes---a PLUS! No irritation. Now the mascara itself has a great formula, it allows me to create a plump, volumizing and full lash look without much effort. BUT to achieve this lash, you MUST wipe off the access product on the wand into the tube before application. If you do not, unfortunately, your lashes will look like a pile of clumpy twigs. The wand just seems to pick up a ton of product. This product is a very close dupe to the BTS mascara by Too Faced for a FRACTION of the price.

I applied to bare eyelashes with no crimping and you can see a change in length from the first coat. As it says it is waterproof and it holds true to that. It stayed on during my run and while swimming in the ocean. No smearing or smuddging. I would say this mascara helps most with length as your lashes look long but less with volume. I would apply a couple coats and do not allow to dry between applications. For the price this is a great mascara that you can find in many drug stores. Mascara one. The wand is sleek, skinny enough to maneuver around the eye so I can cover every lash. The applicator also grabs onto the lash and gives an even coat the lashes. It gives me dramatic volume and lasts through the day without any flakiness at all. My lashes weren't crunchy or dry either. Just perfectly curled and voluminous throughout the day. Impressed at the longevity of this. Very surprised for a drugstore brand product. I'll definitely repurchase.
